Zero stars! What a waste of money and water! All 3 toilets are still self-flushing, 2 every minute 24/7. Does American Standard have a way of stopping this water waste, or do we have to replace our toilets with other brands?

Solved toilet leak issue
Saw YouTube post on cause of this type of toilet leaking/running. Recommendation was to use American Standard seal vs big box store brand. Web search found AS site and ordering was straightforward and arrived within 5 days. Replacement was easy but needed wrench to get better grip on top screw to remove. Needed to reseat top/bottom after a day since still leaked; needed to align top/bottom better. Once did that , good as new after two weeks.

Toilets such as American Standard and Champion that are the best flushing have a seal mechanism that is poorly designed due to thin, poor quality seal. They need replacing fairly frequently due to their developing small blisters that result in increasing water dripping from the toilet bowl. Great toilets with a poorly designed, poor quality seal that is expensive.

Easy Seal Replacement
