Would RecommendI have had Deck Correct on my deck for two years. I've had no chipping or pealing. Even after two years all stains are easily removed. I use a solution of M-12/bleach/water equal parts. Spray on then brush for three minutes and rinse. My wife has gardened on the deck for the past two years and regularly grinds potting soil into the deck surface. The deck was built in 2000 and I first used Deck Correct in 2015. Here is how I prepared my deck for Deck Correct. I used two epoxies one watery and the...

Problematic
Would Not RecommendWe should have been told that summer in LA is not the time to apply DeckCorrect (or any kind of paint). Our deck is fully exposed to the sun from 11am to 6pm, and overnight heavy dew soaks the deck and doesn't burn off till 11. We shaded the deck with tarp to cool it down and put on the paint from 6:30pm to 8pm. The next morning the deck was very wet, but thinking it had dried before the dew set in, I walked on it - leaving footprints that went down to the original surface. It was as wet as when...

Great so far
Would RecommendMy cedar deck is 13 years old and hadn't seen a drop of stain since. Some of the boards were starting to rot (I had to replace a couple of them). Two coats of this stuff worked wonders. I looks great and so far is very durable. I'm very happy with this product!

do not buy
Would Not RecommendAt first, I was pleased with the results, but the product makes the deck surface very hot to walk on in bare feet, and after a couple of weeks, and without having put any other substance on the deck surface, white stains started appearing in various places on the deck. I washed them off with water, which temporarily removed the white stains, but then they would reappear in other areas of the deck.

Would RecommendI used this on my deck in early 2015, and still looks almost good as new,Just a few chips and scrapes from people sliding the patio chairs, but i recommend this product. Had it color matched to my siding.

Like product, color not so much
Would RecommendProduct works as advertised. Nice finish but it is thick lick painting with honey. Wpuld like to add a third coat in a darker color as the color is lighter than i thought it should be.

Good product, but Cedar is not orange
Would RecommendI used the product this weekend and when my wife looked at it, she said "it's orange!" Cedar should not look orange. I need to apply another coat, so any suggestions on choosing a color that is closer to brown (Cedar)? Otherwise, so far I'm pretty impressed with the coverage, look and feel.

10 Months, Excellent Condition After Tough Winter
Would RecommendI posted 10 months ago about liking deckcorrect and hoping it would hold up after a Minnesota winter and rainy spring. It has exceeded my expectations. It remains a solid surface coating, has held its color, and has sealed the 20 year old green treated deck so that it can last another 20 years. Really nice product.

Never Dried
Would Not RecommendBought the paint after prepping deck. Got home and mixed the paint again. The can says to mix often. I mixed the paint every time I poured paint into the pan. That was Saturday this is Monday and it has not dried. It will rain today. Also the morning dew has made a ring around the deck were water dripped from the rails.

Great product, definitely recommend
Would RecommendI first used Deck Correct on my dock in 2015 and this spring (2017) still looks like new. Therefore I just refinished my deck now to match. I am very thorough in prep work and make sure I'm working with a super dry surface. I will continue to use this product.

Works as advertised
Would RecommendI used Deck Correct on my trailer 2" X 6" boards that were in terrible shape with rot and warping. It really covered extremely well and impressed me enough to use it again on a new treated pine wood used in a swing. It all has held up over a year without any sign of damage or pealing.

Stain didn't last more than a month
Would Not RecommendVery disappointed that this stain did not last for more than a month. Spent a lot of money on the product and paid someone a lot of money for the labor to stain two decks. It will now have to be stripped and stained again. I would not recommend this product.

Tough Stuff
Would RecommendWe bought a house with a huge 4 level deck. There was over 400 feet of top railing alone, which was patched and cracked and rotten in places. Nothing had been done to this deck in over 10 years. I replaced all the top rail and half the decking. What decking remained was death valley dry and cracked, but otherwise in good condition. I flipped these cedar boards where they seemed they would be difficult to correct with a paint. I then pressure washed everything and scrapped and sanded all the loos...

So Far Pleased with Deck Correct
Would RecommendI saw it advertised in Menards flyer and thought I'd give it a try. It does cover well for most part and applies easily. I picked Brick Red as color and did find it is lighter than I would have really liked. Aunt wanted Redwood, glad I didn't pick that. I should have gone even darker to get the real desired color . If it wears for 3 years I'll be pleased.

Not Bad
Would RecommendI was highly skeptical of this product and rightly so since there are a lot of reviews saying this stuff peels off in ~1yr or less. Idk since I put this stuff on my deck 3 months ago. I bought this product on sale and it was the cheapest "stain" I trusted to put on my deck. There are a lot of bad products out there. So I should note that if you are going to put this product on your deck you have to clean, strip, and treat your deck for mold. A lot of vids I watched online skipped these steps. U...

The Best Product I have Used for Large Deck
Would RecommendI have a 1,500 sf 20 year old green treated deck that was cracked and never held a stain for more than a year. I just put DeckCorrect on, and so far it looks great, filled in all the cracks and surface after 2+ coats, matched the color chart just fine, and is holding up just fine. I will review next year to see if it has held up, but for now, I would recommend this to to anyone wanting to preserve their older deck without the frustration and failure of stains.

Great Producct
Would RecommendOur deck is 30 years old and has been sealed every few years. Living in the Midwest winters take their toll on everything. We are planning on selling and knew we had to do something to restore it. This was a wonderful solution to the problem without replacing the deck. We did take a different approach to finishing. We picked a color we hoped would match the 30 year old fence. The solid color of the driftwood grey was to light for our taste. We took Spanish Moss and with a towel went over ...

very expensive mistake
Would Not Recommendwe applied this product after having deck professionally prepared last fall. This spring we noticed peeling and it is getting worse. I have sanded and repainted these areas and now the repaired spots are obvious.
