Love this.

My deck was in good shape, foundation wise, but for 15 years, I only stained it every year.I heard mixed reviews on this product. But other products were much more expensive. The cracks in the flooring of my deck were getting large, and had some splinter areas. Some of the spindles of railing that was exposed a lot were also cracking. Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Put product on 10 months ago. Noticed this spring, in May, several spots that are bubbling/blistered. We prepped and painted exactly to instructions. Definitely will not be recommending this product to anyone.

Paint coming up

Deck stain is already scraping up after only being on a week? Blown away I was impressed after applying and drying just can't imagine why it's not sticking to the wood?

worked for me

Gone through 2 winters & summers. My deck was in poor shape. I use a moisture meter & never stain/paint exterior unless wood is 15% or less. I've stained many decks & never had a problem.

The Terrible Twos

Applied the product two years ago as directed. Now have peeling spots that are growing in size and number. The project took too much time and money to be peeling after only two years.

Poor results

We bought this product last summer and stained out deck. It is now peeling everywhere. I will never buy this product again or suggest it to a friend. Very disappointed in your product.

Great Product

As with any product, preparation is essential. Deck Correct is a great product for decks that are dry and worn looking. I've used it on a number of my customer's decks and the end result is beautiful! No complaints to date; I will continue to use and promote this product.

Good news and bad news

We applied this to our deck last summer, following all directions. It went on like a dream. It totally renewed the weathered deck. That's the good news. Now the bad news. After one winter, the finish is lifting in a few places. Not bad: I can fill those. The problem is that the finish is a magnet for moss and weather stain here in Oregon's wet winters. Great product

Last year we put a wooden accessibility ramp onto our deck in order to accommodate my husband's disability. Living in the upper mid-west was very concerned about keeping the ramp safe in the ice and snow. Local hardware store recommended this product. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Very Poor Quality Product

We purchased several hundred dollars worth of Deck Correct in April 2015. We followed application instructions and applied two coats to the deck and three coats to the steps. Already in December 2015 we noticed that the steps looked like they had not been treated for years and then as the snow melted, there are chips along edges and on the surface of the deck. does exactly what is says it will do

it performs exactly as it said it would. my neighbor just applied rustoleum restore 10x. we both use the same handyman who helped in both jobs. said he would never use the restore again because of the difficulty of installation. the deckcorrect gave a comparable finish to the 10X at 1/2 the price and less labor cost.

Did not fill cracks

I am very disappointed in this product. I know my deck is bad shape, which is why I bought this product. After 3 coats, 2 rolled with a brush coat in the middle, there are still many cracks less than the 1/4 in specified that are not filled. It went on very smoothly and with the brush the cracks seemed to be filled, but after it dried the cracks were still visible.

Very Disappointed

We initially loved this product. My husband applied this product about a month ago. It looked beautiful. Then the leaves started falling. The leaves stain the deck and it doesn't clean up. Help!! We are so disappointed.

Looks Great but Hard to keep clean

Product worked great; two coats over an older cedar deck and it looked remarkably new. We have two dogs and unfortunately the products seems to attract dirty paw prints and does not hose off easily. Is there another product to apply over Deck Correct to make it easier to keep clean?

wonderful product

This is an excellent solution to weathered decks. Coverage is good, but don't paint it thin, leave semi-thick coat of product on your deck. I used Newburyport blue and it is absolutely wonderful. Looks great and feels good on bare feet, a must at my house.

Cannot Clean

I purchased DeckCorrect a year ago and I used a dark brown. Mistake!! It is constantly looking filmy with a whitish film and little animal tracks that will not come off no matter how much we scrub. Can you help and let me know of a cleaner I could use?

Covers well and Looks good

I am very happy with this product,in the past other products have not lived up to expectations.There is no peeling or discoloration and it fills in well.My deck and porch look new! Thank you.

Initially like time will tell

Product is simple to use- as always prep work is the key. Time will tell. Only negative I have is filling in cracks or larger gaps. Was hoping it would have done a better job in this area.

Limited Product

I purchased a gallon this weekend. I was told over and over it goes on thick and covers well. It doesn't cover well at all. I wanted white (which you can't get). I ended up with a light grey. Terrible coverage. 3 coats, and the white still bleeds thru. Used 3/8" nap. All in all, very limited. Hope it lasts

Impressed so far. Wainting to see durability

I brought this after seeing a the bad reviews for Rustoleum Restore 10x (that I brought a gallon of) and other products like it. I was sold by the sq ft coverage and it's ability to spread more like paint and the Cabot name. I had to go to an Ace Hardware which was about 30mins away to get it. My deck was in horrible shape with a lot of cracked but supportive boards and I was not sure that the product could do the job based upon the marketing that I saw from other products (such as 2x 4x and 10x...
