Broke after 18 months

After about 18 months of normal, residential use, the plastic frame that holds the lid in place cracked. We do not store anything on top of the washer (couldn't, anyway, because the lid is slanted) so there is no explanation as to why this cracked. This is preventing the lid from aligning correctly and locking, which does not allow the washer to operate. Great washer.

I got this washer a few weeks ago and has been nothing but great. The heat works well and I find that it has great calibration when sensing the load cutting time down! Only thing that bugs me lil bit is the high frequency that comes on it when it starts to move. I do choose to close the door to my laundry room

If you work for a living and get dirty, this washer is NOT for you! If you cook and get food or oil on your clothing, this washer is not for you. Terrible design and cheap parts

Do not buy this washer. It has great features like large capacity and an agitator. BUT it has a cheap chintzy low quality detergent distribution container that breeds mold!! Totally unreasonable for a top loader. This detergent distributor slants back so it retains liquid and you have to remove it to dry it. Plus instructions state you have to remove it to clean it. Terrible

The washer overflowed due to the valve not shutting off. Flooded my house at 3 am and when I claimed warranty they were rude and still haven’t fixed my washer. It’s been broke for a month.

HATE IT EVERY WASH - Regret buying it

I loved my last LG washer but couldn't fix it, so I considered no other brands. I regret that. I hate this machine! The black glass lid is very difficult to see through. So far, it has been a great washer, quick and quiet. The only issue I have is the power and start buttons are very subdued and hard to find.

Destroying clothes, Lowe’s said to bad

I bought the washer and dryer and have had for two weeks. It is snagging and ruining my clothes and bed sheets.
