Met my needs

Bought for my boondocking. Fuel efficient, and will run 1ac (with soft start already installed) and everything else except the second AC or microwave. Will be buying a second 2550dfc to supplement for those times I want 2 AC, or 1ac+microwave (2 provide more than 30ampa). Quiet and Easy to Start

I tried this generator out just to familiarize myself with its operation. It took three pulls to start, probably because there was no gas in the system. Then, when it had started, I checked to be sure that the controls were in the right place because it was SO quiet. My wife and i could easily talk over it. I plugged in a circular saw to test (it was the closest electrical thing I had). It made a bit of noise, probably because the saw pulled 10 amps. I tried a couple of other much lower powered ...

Great for Rv winter camping

I bought this generator, 2550, put oil in it that was provided then gas, which i provided. Pulled the cord twice and it started. That's a great start. Ran it for 3 hours and then started again the next day for 2 more hours. I'll change the oil tomorrow.

Quick Start, Super Quiet!

I just bought this tonight. Took it home, followed the easy to follow instructions, and it started right up. My husband is super pleased so far. I’m in hopes that it works this wonderful for years to come.

Compact Power, Great Unit

Purchased this several months ago. Unit is lightweight, well built and easy to use. Meets all my portable power needs. Purchased for "camping" use, have used for many other purposes, including running a circular saw at an unpowered barn, fans at a cookout, and powering a freezes during a power outage. Definitely glad I purchased the Westinghouse iGen 2550c!

Works Great, Not too loud

Picked up this generator for tailgating mostly. Fired it up and it really is not too loud, you can easily have a conversation without yelling, even 10-15 feet from it. Powered an electric Blackstone and a large floor fan without a problem. Nice upgrade to the tailgate setup.

Great Generator for the Price

I purchased this generator to use on camping trips and it has worked very well. Cranks on the first pull and runs excellent under a load. The unit is quiet and exactly what we wanted.

Very Happy So Far

This was a replacement for a 2800 that developed problems during break-in. So far so good with this one. Really like the ease of access to internals as compared to the 2800. It runs very smooth and starts fairly easily. The only negative is that whoever put in the spark plug used WAY too much torque. It is a great little unit.

Fantastic: iGen inverter generator 2550

It's perfect to take camping especially for boondocking. It'll keeps my wife and my CPAP running all night and charges my batteries. It also has the power to run our Mr. Coffee, and run the AC., not at the same time. I'm glad I bought it. Good price too. It didn't break the bank.
