Ratings & Reviews for Timberline 2 -cu ft All natural Hardwood bark Hardwood Mulch
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this mulch for its natural, undyed composition and effectiveness in moisture retention and weed control. Many highlight its soil-enriching properties, lack of chemical additives, and long-lasting performance, making it ideal for organic gardening. The coarse texture and 2-inch application depth deliver reliable results. However, some report inconsistent shredding quality, with complaints of oversized wood pieces, rocks, and occasional mold or metal debris. Despite these drawbacks, most customers consider it a dependable choice for garden beds and slopes.

Would Not RecommendI was extremely happy with Brandon, who helped get my order out to my car and loaded it for me. He was extremely friendly, helpful & respectful and just carried on a really pleasant conversation. I would highly recommend him for any position or advancement in his employment! Karen Lewellyn
Inconsistent quality.
Would Not RecommendI bought 5 bags of mulch. The first 2 were good. The other 3 were of a much poorer quality. There were big chunks of branches and the color was not consistent. I would not recommend this product.

Natural Mulch
Would RecommendI like that it has no dyes. I use this in the vegetable garden and around fruit trees so I want to avoid potentially toxic dyes.

Lack quality
Would Not RecommendThis product, lacks the quality of the past. I’ve purchased it a number of times each season over the past 10 years and this purchase is not shredded well and the color is not a good quality.

Know what you are buying
Would Not RecommendIt is not the best mulch I have used. There were a lot of large wood chunks which made me wonder what was really used and how it was composted, if at all.

All natural Hardwood Mulch
Would RecommendThe chips lay well around the base of your tree. You will need 2-3 bags per tree. Prevents weeds from growing up through the mulch.

Good Mulch in a Bad Bag
Would Not RecommendLiked the mulch itself, but the thin bag is too easily broken! Please make the bags stronger!

Overall good product.
Would RecommendI have used this product for many years and lately I am finding that it is not ground as finely as it used to be and sometimes has large clumps of dirt and clay in it. Also the plastic bags are not as sturdy as they used to be and tend to tear or split when handling. Overall, it is a good product and it lasts for several years.
