What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this mulch for its natural, undyed composition and effectiveness in moisture retention and weed control. Many highlight its soil-enriching properties, lack of chemical additives, and long-lasting performance, making it ideal for organic gardening. The coarse texture and 2-inch application depth deliver reliable results. However, some report inconsistent shredding quality, with complaints of oversized wood pieces, rocks, and occasional mold or metal debris. Despite these drawbacks, most customers consider it a dependable choice for garden beds and slopes.

Exactly what I needed!
Would RecommendI bought 24 bags last month to refresh my natural areas. Loved the texture with very little nuggets in the bags. Easy to spread. Also, helpful employees who loaded the bags in my car....huge thanks.

Big chunks of wood
Would Not RecommendWhile the picture depicts what appears to be finely shredded hard wood, the bag I purchased was full of large enough chunks to play go fetch with the dog. Would not recommend if you prefer a finer shredded would.

SO MANY ROCKS!
Would Not RecommendI just bought this and while I know you get what you pay for, I didnt realize I was paying for rocks. There were also some very large pieces of wood mixed in but the big problem was the rocks. So. Many. Rocks. I bought 7 bags and every bag had rocks.
Weed control
I purchased this product specifically for the azaleas that J had just planted. I could not be happier with my purchase as it controls any weeds that might pop up.

Mulch
Would RecommendI purchased 5 bags of this mulch for a new flower garden I just put in. It was a good price for 2 cubic feet. It was nicely shredded with no large pieces of wood. The only problem was that 2 of the bags had quite a bit of mold. I spread it out to dry and the mold was gone in a couple days.
