Ratings & Reviews for Timberline 2 -cu ft All natural Hardwood bark Hardwood Mulch

Stones or Mulch?

Good product EXCEPT this year I found fist-size stones in the mulch, one per bag in 20 bags. I wish quality control was better.

CHUNKS OF JUNK

I chose this particular brand because I read it was the best for Oklahoma wind and rain and can help improved clay soil. This was NOT as pictured— 99% of it is huge chunks of wood, including particle board, plastic, painted wood scraps. The color of bags purchased at the same time on the same pallet are not even close to the same color—one bag dark and the other bag would be light colored. It looks HORRIBLE.

Color and texture are nice

Good product overall

This is a pretty good product. I like that it isn’t dyed, and it will feed my soil over time. My one complaint is that the amount of shredding is inconsistent. Some bags had mostly really giant pieces of wood and big chunks, which weren’t my favorite. Other bags were shredded more finely and were much better.

Good value!👍

Very pleased with the color & the way it spreads & sits on the flower bed - good price for the quality too!

Changed color -Faded to blond in days

Bought 60 bags on 5 for $10 mulch and hired helper to spread it. Not enough. Sale over, so bought 20 bags of this full price Timberline 2-cu ft All Natural Hardwood Bark Hardwood Mulch (brown) to finish flower bed around tree. Went on vacation and returned to mulch that faded to BLOND! Lowe's would not replace or refund. Instead I was given a number to call the vendor and deal with them. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Besides replacing the mulch, I now have to hire someone to spread it since...

NOT shredded

Terrible. Huge chunks of wood and branches in the bag. Not shredded!

Definitely not shredded!

I've bought hundreds of bags of shredded hardwood mulch from Lowe's over the years. Last year I began finding big chunks of wood mixed in with the shredded material. It happened again this spring. I took a bucket of what I collected to the store and they were well aware of the problem. I was told to complain online because management only listens to customers, not employees. No stord credit was offered.

Good mulch

Good mulch

works great for what i need

always buy this to help keep the garden moist

Inconsistent

Earlier I purchased this product and it was TOTALLY different - different color, texture, etc. Now the area bring mulched has two different coverages. Consistency would be great!

Fine

Decent quality for price, the thinness of the bags themselves is what is the main issue. Very easy to rip/tear/break. Like all bagged mulched, sometimes it can be moldy on the inside.

Quailty Mulch

Good product & not to expensive
