Ratings & Reviews for Timberline 2 -cu ft All natural Hardwood bark Hardwood Mulch
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this mulch for its natural, undyed composition and effectiveness in moisture retention and weed control. Many highlight its soil-enriching properties, lack of chemical additives, and long-lasting performance, making it ideal for organic gardening. The coarse texture and 2-inch application depth deliver reliable results. However, some report inconsistent shredding quality, with complaints of oversized wood pieces, rocks, and occasional mold or metal debris. Despite these drawbacks, most customers consider it a dependable choice for garden beds and slopes.

The mulch this time was a decent texture. The product is inconsistent in that way. I prefer a fine ground and too often its very chunky

Great Feature
Would RecommendI bought this for my hosta/woodland garden at the bottom of my yard and it worked out great. Since I garden bit by bit it is nice to have the mulch in neat bags until I need it.

Great product
Would RecommendI love this product. Use it to suppress weeds on a bed i use to keep container plants on. Timberline line of products is great. I use their pine bark mulch as the base of my potting mix.

Great Mulch
Would RecommendI have now bought quite a few bags of this mulch. It's just what I was looking for. It's not too fine, or too rough. It is consistent batch to batch. The only criticism is the bags themselves. They tend to burst open at the seam, so handle carefully. But the product itself is great.
