Would RecommendHandy tool for every tool box. Extractors are packaged in a plastic snap shut holder which helps keep these from rolling around in your toolbox. Instructions are straightforward as all screw extractors work on same principle. If the screw/bolt is rusted you might want to use a penetrating oil prior to help extraction process. The micro extractors are for screw sizes 1-3 and metric 3-6mm. Will work with any type of drill.
When you strip out a screw these sets work
Would RecommendHandy to have the full set of 3 different sizes. You never know when you'll need them. They do work but instructions are a bit confusing. The packaging looks good, but i recommend they put the instructions in the plastic black box that holds the bits and puts the sizes for each set on the black plastic box cover. See my pictures to see what i did.
Speedout Micro screw extractor set
Would RecommendI’ve used plenty of screw and bolt extractors over the years. Speedout is a solid brand. Comes with a compact case and the extractors are labeled. To top it off these things are definitely hardened! This isn’t something you find all the time. I’ve had my fair share not work, or that were cheap soft metal. The microset is crazy small. Worked like a champ removing a stripped mini screw from my kids remote. I couldn’t get anything to bite after it was stripped. This literally got it out in seco...
A Must Have For Any Tool Box
Would RecommendThis is a must have for anyone that works with screws and bolts. It is easy to use and made for a easy and quick resolve of a problem situation. I really like the container that it comes in, it's not too big, I just wish the box was labeled for an easier find in your tool box. It did NOT come with an instruction sheet, so just remember to wire brush the extractor after you use it to clean any metal in the grooves.
Micro Speedout...
Would Recommend...screw extractor. Worked like a charm. The extractor had such an intense grip on the screw I had to use pliers to separate the extractor from the damaged screw. I like the reverse boring bit. It allows the extractor the get a better grip on the damaged screw. Overall, a nice tool to add to the toolbox.
Great product
Would RecommendReceived product in good condition. No label on case or directions included. Can see some usage of this on many of the smaller screws I use since they seem prone to strip very easily. Tried it out on a screw embedded in a 2x4 block and it performed flawlessly.
Worked for us
Would RecommendThis micro screw extractor came in handy when my son brought home a rusted out old work chest. The latch had a few micro screws that wouldn’t budge till we used these extractors. I was a tad worried they snap as previous attempts proved fruitless. I do feel like this set it a tad overpriced.
Perfect Extractor!!
Would RecommendThese speed out steel screw extractors are a must have around the house. Different sizes for whatever could go wrong. Strong steel material with a strong bite. Handy case to keep organized.
SpeedOut Micro - Damaged Screw Extractor Micro Ver
Would RecommendThe SpeedOut Micro - Damaged Screw Extractor Micro Version - 4 piece set works great. It makes extracting screws easy. Easy to use, great price, and great quality
extracts mini screws
Would RecommendI tried this on an smaller type of screw that was stripped out because the heads were stripped out on my mini RC racer. I would use a smaller electric screwdriver with a hex mount to first bore the hole and then flip the extractor head around and use the fine screw bit to dig in to the hole and slowly remove the stuck screw. It took a bit of time to master this but the screw eventually came out. Since the screws are smaller, I would advise using less force and more of a feeling to slowly catch a...
Strong tool to pull micro screws
Would RecommendThe SpeedOut Micro Screw Extractors are solid tools I will recommend these to my friends. The extractors are made of M2 tool steel, a type of high-speed steel known for its excellent hardness, toughness, and abrasion resistance. The kit contains four different size extractors with a protective case and easy to understand directions. The extractors handle micro #4 through #7 screws (.112 to .151 inches in diameter). The tools pull most screw types including wood, sheet metal and mechanical re...
Good quality screw extractor
Would RecommendI got this as replacement for a set I bought at a local home improvement store that broke off. This seems to work good and I assume these are stronger than the ones I bought. I got all three versions: bolt 3-6mm, screws 6-12mm, and #1-#4. So far nothing broke so I think these are high quality.
A speedy fix
Would RecommendThese are great for small screws! They are easy to use and are great for the jewelry box I was fixing for my wife. It was effortless to get the striped screw out with this.
Micro speed-out pro
Would RecommendMicro speed-out pro set of extracors with M2 tool steel. Easy to use and saves you time and money, get the broken screws out in 10 secounds . These work great every where especially the jobs site where time is money. Use these with a impacked driver or a drill at a moderate speed so you dint work harden the screws your extracing. Great tool from speed-out.
Great extractors
Would RecommendI like these. It is even better that they come in their own little case. The case has extra room so other things can fit and it can lay flat in a toolbox. They aren't complicated to use but I wish the instructions were on the little card that can fit in the case instead of on the big card just in case for future use or other users. Also, not sure about the claim of being used in an impact driver. I would need some kind of adapter to use them with my impact driver. But they work great in my drill...
Great tool to remove stripped screws and easy use
Would RecommendWorked very well to remove stripped screws. I didn’t even need to flip to the other side and removed the screw with ease. Was very well packaged. Built with good material.
Excellent tool to have when you need it.
Would RecommendThis micro version I expected it to be a bit fragile just because of the size. I treated it carefully and had no problems. Used it on a M3 screw. I used my power drill to drill the hole. I then used a hand tool holder and a wrench for the extraction. Locked in hard to remove the screw.
Great tool
Helpful set of tools. Came on time. Easy packaging. Need to use scissors to open. I would recommend for others if they have a tough screw that needs to be removed.
