I tried to remove some old deck screw with this Grabit #2. It worked fine on the first one but would not drill hole for extractor end on the second screw. May work on soft metal screws but at around $9.00 per Grabit, it's a bit much.

Got the job done

It works. Did what it was supposed to and I was able to salvage a cabinet to reuse elsewhere

use this on several warn out door hinge screws and it worked like a champ.

Great for stripped screws

This worked like a charm for a stripped philips head used for my TV stand.

Great Tool - But you Gotta Read & Follow Direction

As a professional Handyman, I use these all the time! Love them, they save me lots of time on everything from tiny screws to large stainless steel screws! But you have to understand, it's not one size fits all. I have the 4 pack of Grabits and if you don't use the right size, or you don't follow instructions, they won't work well. I'm seeing all these negative reviews and I can promise you, they're either using the wrong size or not using the tool properly.

Useless

Followed the instructions given, went with low speeds , it failed to catch and turn, the only thing this did was create a nice little hole.

Worked great!

Worked great removing very large screws that had been messed up.

This is a toy. It will not work on screws that have any grab. Went back to Lowes and bought the kit with 4 different sizes. Still didn't work. This whole thing is a scam. Don't waste your money.

An invaluable gadget....

This works great! Wasn't sure how I would get out of the mess I was in with a striped screw attaching a door hinge. I'd heard about these but had never seen them work before. Now I'll make sure this is always with me on job sites.

It did not work for me. I had to purchase a different product to get the job done!

It could be me

I'm not perfect, but the product did not work for me. Maybe my drill isn't powerful enough or I'm not strong enough.

is a piece of junk. doesn't do what it is supposed to ( remove screws) waste of money

Doesn't help with stubborn screws

I had a screw that became mostly stripped because it seems very stubborn to get out. The grabbit did absolutely nothing to help extract the screw except turn a mostly stripped screw to an unusable one. I will no have to replace my whole faucet. Do not get!

Didn't work on sheet metal screw

I bought this to remove a sheet metal screw in my dryer that had been damaged. I couldn't get the Grabit to engage in the head of the screw. It may be the material that the screw was made of was too hard for the tool to create the threads in.

Worthless, don't even bother. It doesn't work.

I am thankful for Lowes return policy so I could get my money back.

Was able to use it to remove odd sized Torx machine screw.
