What Customers Are Saying
The product works well for removing some stripped or corroded wood screws, but may struggle with more stubborn or hard metal screws. Proper technique, such as drilling a deep pilot hole and using low RPM in reverse, is crucial for the extractor to grip the screw head effectively. The extractor size must match the screw size for best results, and in some cases the extractor bit may break or further strip the screw head.

Would Not RecommendIt was purchased to remove philips head screws from deck boards screwed to risers. It was useless.

How stuck is it?
Would RecommendThis thing worked for the first screw, but after 10 minutes trying to get the other one out it broke.

Not for heavy duty use
So I work on aircraft and bought this to extract worn or corroded screws. And the extractor caught the screw at first but slipped almost immediately after. If you’re trying to remove a stripped screw from plastic or wood it might work for you but if your someone who works with anchor nuts and deals with corroded screws then I don’t recommend this product and just say to stick with easy outs. Overall would not purchase again
Okay for easy wood screws
Would Not RecommendOkay for wood screws. Not so much broken bolts on an engine. I had hopes it would work
Grab it....good
Would RecommendVery useful. Especially in areas where you do not want your hands to go.
Beyond the point of no return
Would RecommendThis little doohickey is just the ticket to remove hardware that’s stuck in the wall. It’s for those “oops!” moments when you can’t back that screw out using your drill. Kind of like the Esc key on the computer. It saved my project!
Works Great
Would RecommendProduct works just like it says. Easy to use. Gets the job done in no time.
Drilled it out instead
Would Not RecommendGrab it didn’t get the screw out, had to use oversized drill bit to grind it down
Not great
Would Not RecommendHave tried to use it once, to no avail. Didn’t work at all. Will give it another try, but not promising.
Perfect Gadget
Would RecommendWas recommended by very knowledgeable Lowe’s associate. Had a screw that was stripped, followed package directions and voila, it came out!
It works!
Would RecommendThis saved the day for me. Put it on the drill bit and followed the instructions. Life saver. Removed a stripped phillips head screw for me easy breezy.
Grab it Screw Remover
Would RecommendThis thing works great! We had a stripped screw in a shower faucet that had been there for 26 years. A trip to Lowe’s and the sales associate showed me what to buy. It worked like a charm!
Success Achieved
Would RecommendHad a "funny" screw that seemed to need an unusual screwdriver head. I attached it to my drill and it took out the screw immediately. Great stuff!
