What Customers Are Saying
The product works well for removing some stripped or corroded wood screws, but may struggle with more stubborn or hard metal screws. Proper technique, such as drilling a deep pilot hole and using low RPM in reverse, is crucial for the extractor to grip the screw head effectively. The extractor size must match the screw size for best results, and in some cases the extractor bit may break or further strip the screw head.

Worked Great!
Would RecommendHad a broken grease zerk and this backed it right out. Took less than 5 seconds. I can imagine that you need to have the right size for the right screw, bolt, zerk. Etc. but it was my lucky day and took no time or effort.

Make sure to buy the right sizen
Would RecommendDidn’t quite work for me because I think I bought the wrong size. But I can see if the screw I tried it on was smaller it would’ve worked.

Package doesn’t address which types of screws.
Would Not RecommendWrong tool. Your employees said this would work to remove a brass screw that had been stuck and stripped. Brass is too soft so it didn’t work. Bad advice.

Works exactly as designed
Would RecommendThe extractor was used to remove two rusted screws on an electronic lock located on an ocean-side door. I have used the extractor numerous times on corroded screws affected by salt water at the beach. I use a drill bit to create the hole in the screw instead of the extractor bit, then use the extractor to back out the screw.
You may need two diff. sizes to get the job done.
Would Not RecommendDid not work.

Female Highly Recommending this Item
Would RecommendI reviewed the reviews there was one one guy who stated the item worked for him. So I tried the Grabit and it worked very easily and fast!
Worked as Advertised
Would RecommendNot sure why over 50% negative review. Had two frozen and stripped screws . Took my time and bored out the head moderately deep. Turned the bit over as instructed and within a second or two the bit grabbed and now it was only a matter to break the freeze which was not difficult with bit embedded in the screw head.
Waste
Would Not RecommendDon’t see how companies get away with selling products like this. Doesn’t come close to doing as advertised. Just like other reviewers have said just polished the metal.
