What Customers Are Saying
The battery-powered chainsaw is praised for its performance, power, and ease of use. It is described as lightweight, quiet, and convenient compared to gas-powered models, making it suitable for homeowner use and light to medium duty tasks. The saw has ample power to handle cutting logs and branches, with the battery lasting a good amount of time before needing to be recharged. Customers appreciate the intuitive start-up process and the ability to quickly swap out batteries. Some minor drawbacks were mentioned, such as the chain occasionally coming loose and limited battery life for more intensive jobs, but overall the consensus is that this is an excellent battery-powered chainsaw that delivers great value.

Would Not RecommendI bought this saw around a year ago and the batter only last about a minute from full charge. when you pull the trigger you can watch the batter go down. bought another batter for it but the batter only last about 5 minutes and it's says 15 charging but always take 30 to 40 minutes. just a bad saw.
I was really looking to buy a gas powered but the
Would Not RecommendDisappointed that the store doesn’t carry a single gas powered chainsaw. Nervous about the power battery and how it’ll handle the use. The gas powered ones went up in price from the last time I looked at them online and they averaged about $350! Way too much!

Lowes.
Would Not RecommendThe saw may be good, I wouldn't know. If you buy it in the store at Lowes there is no notice that returns are only for 48 hours, (very understandable if the saw had been used even slightly). I returned it in less than a week, completely unused and pristine, because I decided to hire a professional instead. So I now have an expensive and usless saw. My point is, be careful and ask before you buy there.

Power at a decent price
Would RecommendExcellent for small projects around the yard. Lots of power for what I was doing, cutting up a felled fruit tree. The only thing recommendation I would have for Skil would be to make it usable in the rain or wet conditions, this is the only down side to this unit

Cheap price for an excellent saw!!!
Would RecommendThis chainsaw is very light weight and super easy to use. I am in my mid 70's an had a couple very tall bushes that needed cut down. Of course guys want a fortune to do it! It was 1/2 price to buy the saw an do it myself. It cut each trunk like cutting butter! Thank you for a great saw!
