Would RecommendThe nicest thing about this chainsaw is that you pull a trigger. No pulling a cord over and over again, or adjusting the fuel ratio. Super easy! The drawback is that the battery doesnt last as long as you would like and it shuts down in the middle of a cut. The PWRCORE 40 2.5 AH battery is just not powerful enough. I went with a smaller model because i needed a saw for smaller jobs. The PWRCORE 40 6 AH battery is available with the 18" saw, which I thought would be too big for my smaller appli...

Would RecommendThis SKIL 40v chain saw lives up to the high recommendation from Consumer Reports. On sale, it is far less expensive than the competition. I have used Stihl gas chain saws for years and I expect high performance. Of course, this does not match my larger Stihl. At 40v with a 14 inch bar, it can't.
