Excellent product

Used to finish off a miniature project. Perfect lovely product. Works with self adhesive and iron.

so easy to use

even I could do it, just roll it out on your edge to measure and about a half inch to over lap the corner and cut, then heat your iron on the cotton setting and iron on around your edge, it stays on as you iron. If you make a mistake in keeping the line straight, just re-iron it, wow, now I'm a professional at it!

Easy to stain

Needed to replace two side strips on an old fashioned floor radio. It was easy to cut, glue, and stain. Looks like the original. Great product.

Great plywood edge cover-up

Irons on easy and stays where it belongs. I use a finish sander to trim the edges rather than the edge trimmer because it doesn't leave a sharp corner. It also stains well.

very easy to use

This is exactly what i was looking for, i had a cabinet made and plywood was used i didnt want a rough edge so I bought this. It was sooo easy to use and went on right the first time, it was also easy to trim down to the size i needed. I painted it and it makes the cabinet looks just that much more finished

Excellent filler for antique cabinets

Used on radio cabinet with tubes inside. Had skin that was peeling off so cut out and ironed on this product.

Iron on edging

I have used glued edging on several projects. This edging, Band-It brand,was one of the best I have used. It has ample glue and trims nicely, with no splitting. I was even able to fold it around 90 degree corners with out breaking. This allows a better looking corner on the shelf. My only dissatisfaction was that Lowes only stocked 25 foot rolls. I had to buy 5 rolls and could have gotten by with only 1 100 foot roll since there would have been less scrap short pieces.

Seams are trouble on long pieces

If you’re banding a long piece of ply, the seams are too frequent to make it look good.

Birch Vermeer Tape

This product is well suited for making small repairs in Verneer surfaces where chips, splits or cracks have occurred. It is not useful on damaged surfaces wider than 1/2 inch. The adhesive backing on the tape holds well on flat surfaces, but struggles to adhere to irregular or pitted surfaces. I used wood glue to fasten it to the edge of one leg of a dresser. The surface of the dresser leg was slightly rounded which did not bond well with the glue on the back of the tape.

Haven't used it yet

I have not used this product yet, but have used similar brands in the past and all have been satifactory.

Veneer

Applied with heat gun and smoothed with a putty knife. Easy to work with, applied to edge of premium plywood. Sanded and painted well. Next day noticed it had lifted a bit. Reheated and smoothed out.

Sticks well sands well

This stuff sticks perfectly to the plywood. Furthermore I was able to round (break the edges) on the plywood where this was placed without any issues. Good product!
