What Customers Are Saying

The veneer edging product appears to be an effective and easy-to-use solution for covering plywood edges. Customers report that it is simple to apply using an iron, adheres well, and can be easily trimmed and stained to match the plywood, giving a professional, finished look. The key benefits include strong adhesion, the ability to stain and finish the edging, and the transformation of plywood to look like solid wood. While a few customers had issues with adhesion or the roll being stuck together, the overall sentiment is very positive.

Worked perfectly

Would Recommend

Wrapped around a round piece of plywood that is a support connection piece under a table just to help the project look more finished. Went on easy with regular house iron, excess cut off easy, edges sanded smooth and took stain and poly without any issues.

It's wider than the plywood is.

Would Recommend

It works just fine. It's a lot wider than the plywood so it took some time to get it done with a block plane.

Does its job. Easy to apply.

Works well to cover edges. Does have some glue seams that might show depending on the application.

Poor Edge Banding

Would Not Recommend

This edge banding has very visible seams every couple feet (but not uniformly spaces) that not only look bad, but cause cracking along the length of the edge banding and pull up at the seam. Unless you're using it for very short pieces and can cut around the seams I would avoid!

There was a lot of veneer splice.

Looks good but tricky

Would Recommend

Really helps finish plywood edges. Getting the edging to stick takes a bit of finesse. I used a small hobby iron set on hi to medium hi. On compound curves, it helps to hold it in place after removing the heat.

Good product

Would Recommend

The glue sticks well. Some of the products you buy online may look good but the iron on glue does not stick.
