Like our new fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge nearly two weeks ago. Love the overall layout; having a light in the freezer is genius. Compressor makes a strange noise at times.

Some disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the fridge since 7/25/25 so I am still getting used to it but I can tell you I am disappointed that a more detailed booklet did NOT come with the delivery and also many of the seams/corners are sharp and not well made. This is my first Maytag product so I am disappointed. I do like the size and the well lit freezer but the deli drawer does not slide in and out well… and requires me to fuss with it to get it straight in or out.

Simple and satisfying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple and useful. Our last fridge had all the bells and whistles. When it broke, it was going to cost more than the fridge cost new. So this time we went simple. Very satisfied 6 months in. Our only issue is with the full width shelf. A gallon of milk doesn't fit on top shelf. So for a full gallon to fit we move the full width shelf all the way up and it is only good for food packaging under 3 inches tall.

Good features, bad quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the design of this fridge, but am very disappointed in the quality of the finished product. The crisper drawers will not close properly so that the use of the humidity controls is not possible. Same is true of the nice wide drawer under the top shelf. It’s very easy for it to literally fall down off the track if not pulled out carefully. Worst quality in what use to be a great quality name brand. I’m disappointed in Maytag!

Over all I like it.

Like the lay out

Issues from the start.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The light cover in the freezer was broken when I opened the unit. I filled the center drawer with sodas, and it could not handle the weight and one edge came off. I am now very cautious about using the drawer for anything with weight. The temperature control is great and meets my needs very well.

Too tall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice refrigerator, but 2 problems. Needs door handles, not finger pockets. Height. Had to cut down the cabinet above it to get it in place. Not everyone has a home with unlimited space. Failure.

Great refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the style of my new refrigerator, the only thing is I have to make sure the doors are shut because the new refrigerators aren't as heavy as the other ones and the doors don't automatically close with a light push and notice that the rubber sealings are thinner and you don't hear that suction sound that the doors are tightly closed

Old versus New

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the updated model for my 20 year old frig that is still working! The configuration is different, so it doesn't seem to hold as much without lying taller products down on the shelves in the frig or covering the vents in the freezer. It makes more noise than the older model and is not as cold. I'm still getting used to it.

This Refrigerator has many new features I enjoy!

I also like the control on the front to maintain various cold temperatures. My fridge is large and very spacious to hold a lot of food. So far,I am happy with my purchase.

Love the quiet operation and the freezer light!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to replace failing Kenmore (rip Sears). Like the gallon jug bin on the door and fridge wide deli drawer. Love best light in freezer! Also, so quiet. Never hear it kicking on or off. Fridge wide shelves great for large platters.

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator, and it was just what I needed. I didn't need a high-end model, nor one with an ice-cube maker. It has enough space and it fits nicely in my understated kitchen.

Fantastic fridge, but doesn't close properly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is fantastic. The only issue is that the door does not fully swing to close. It's as if it isn't level or somethingis rubbing so it does swing properly.

Spacious but noisy
