Piece of Trash
Would Not RecommendOK, so it cools the house fairly well, even though the media is super thin, but it is NOT built to last. I have had to fix everything except the fan so far. From the get-go, this is a cheap piece of plastic trash that I wish I'd had enough sense to return. The weight of the hose easily bends the housing. Where the hose connects and the screws connect have broken and had to be glued. The brackets that hold the media have broken. The pump has failed. The float is a finicky piece of garbage....

Bought one yesterday
Would RecommendOnly a day in, but love this cooler! Easy to setup and install. Only thing I wonder about is do I have something set up wrong as it dumps ALOT of water. Can't imagine that much water would go to waste.

Would Not RecommendEasy to install and simple to operate, this unit not only cools our 1,200 sq ft home, it does it at the touch of a remote button! We plan on purchasing the purge kit for the full package

Works well and it’s a money saver
Would RecommendWas a bit hard to put up but worth it as it cools our house which is only 900 some off sq feet. If it’s 100 outside then it’s 75 in the house so that’s a 25 degree difference and it costs pennies to run.

Electrical problems
Would Not RecommendMy boyfriend just had this perfectly installed in my window today, so I could save money on the electric bill. But it won't turn on for more than 5 seconds at a time, even with only turning the fan on by itself. Also, tried different outlets in the house using an extension cord with the same result each time. After we gave up on it completely, then it came on by itself for about 10 seconds - have no idea how that happened. Wasted Sunday. Now have to return it next weekend.
