Would Not RecommendMy original door threshold appeared to be exactly the same and by the same manufacturer as this replacement. I found the design, materials and workmanship to meet only minimal standards. The riser was cracked and the drilled holes were poorly aligned. I followed the instructions carefully but could not detect any height adjustability in this product. Would RecommendThe threshold has a variance capability. When I installed the threshold, it was too low. I had a large clearance between the threshold and the bottom of my door. Instead of having to remove the entire threshold and build it up from underneath I was able to remove the wooden cap, which is hollow, and insert a shim the length of the threshold for the depth I was trying to close, and I was done. The wood is untreated so I will have to go back and stain it but that allows me to stain it to the color...
