Black Flakes OnYour Clothes

My LG washer is eighteen months old. Very shortly after it was purchased I began seeing black flakes on my clothes. I replaced an LG washer and dryer with this new set. I never had this trouble with my old set. I use my tub clean once a month and always leave the top load lid up when not in use. The black flakes finally got so bad that I requested a repair visit. Quiet, no agitation

Not very satisfied. Quiet as a mouse and that's great, but the agitation for cleaning is awful. Look through the top and you will see clothes moving hardly at all. I should have gotten a washer with a center agitator or better, a front load. Very poor cleaning ability.

Dialing Through Menu for Each Wash is Awful

The changes made to this LG Washer (WT8600BE) from the older model are useless. The machine is slanted so those with limited countertop space can’t use the top to fold clothes because they fall right onto the floor. You have to dial a knob & scroll through many menu items prior to starting every load. You either put your entire bottle of liquid detergent in the large receptacle or dump single-serve amounts into the tub itself & your clothes sit right on top of the detergent. The design is ve...

Terrible with heavy loads

Not satisfied. The tub does not adjust the load during this cycle when washing towels or heavy loads. It drains and fills itself with water over and over until caught. I have to manually adjust the load and monitor. This machine is only a few weeks old. BEWARE

HATE IT EVERY WASH - Regret buying it

I loved my last LG washer but couldn't fix it, so I considered no other brands. I regret that. I hate this machine! The black glass lid is very difficult to see through. Nothing will stay on the lid because it's slanted. I can't sort or fold clothes, put my laundry basket or anything else on it. Shortening the front doesn't mean the lid couldn't be level. HATE IT EVERY WASH (cont)

The top is slanted. I can't sort or fold clothes on it, set my laundry basket, laundry products or anything else on it because they slide off. I wish they'd take it back! I do like that the app will tell me when it's done. I wish LG would take it back. Satisfaction is NOT guaranteed by LG or Lowe's.

HATE IT - EVERY WASH, Extremely Frustrating to Use

I hate this washer & regret getting it. I loved my last LG washer. I didn't consider any other brand. Delicates, towels & other cycles req download but only 1 at a time. There's NO soak, rinse temp choices, functional. spin only & options (extra rinse, etc) reset cycle defaults, often to hot temp.

Less than 18 months old

We bought the set 17 months ago and one of the worst purchases in my life. Glass lid is too heavy and ends up breaking the hinges every single time. If you buy new lid it’s $300 and breaks again within a year. Crap design. Crap company. Lowe’s was zero help as well

Doesn't clean well

We just replaced our LG that was similar to this and was hoping it would clean the same. It doesn't. I have young kids who get messy. This doesn't clean off the spaghetti sauce, ketchup, etc. that my kids get on their clothing. It's still there (and even hard and crunchy sometimes) after I wash it. I don't want to have to spot treat everything and didn't have to with my last washing machine. I'm including a photo of two kitchen towels after I washed them.
