What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this trimmer for its power, lightweight design, and seamless compatibility with existing battery systems and attachments. Many highlight its ability to cut thick weeds and tall grass with ease, quiet operation, and smooth string feeding. The ecosystem integration is a major draw for existing users, who appreciate shared batteries and interchangeable accessories. Battery life remains the primary concern, with reports of 15-20 minutes per charge, though most find this acceptable with spare batteries or for smaller yards. Despite minor complaints about weight and occasional string durability issues, the overall sentiment remains strongly positive.

Attachments only, not for string trimming.
I dont know how anybody could give an honest description of a product they just walked out of the store with, but this one i have previous experience with. This tool gives me the blade shaft capability i need for brush control. I give it a medium rating because the first one i bought burned my arm the motor got so hot, did not blister but left a red spot for days. It is heavier than their other model in 24 volt line so will never be used with string line. I would not buy this unless the replacab...

good strong battery and equipment
Would RecommendBought a 24v blower a few months ago, it works well has enough power/battery to blow off a 150' drive, 2 porches and the lawn tractor before having to recharge, will use this to wack and to edge my lawn, I like the versitility of being able to add various attachments that went to my gas trimmers. Wish all the batteries from all the different manufacturers would interchange between equipment...good warrenty on these Kobalt pieces and batteries.

Get biggest battery. And multiple.
Would RecommendI was surprised by the performance of this unit. My yard was over grown and it was able to take it all down. The string fed out well when tapped. definitely need more than one battery though. I docked it one star for the string guard. That thing don’t stop your feet and legs getting covered in wet grass! We’ll see how well it works in the long haul.
