What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this trimmer for its power, lightweight design, and seamless compatibility with existing battery systems and attachments. Many highlight its ability to cut thick weeds and tall grass with ease, quiet operation, and smooth string feeding. The ecosystem integration is a major draw for existing users, who appreciate shared batteries and interchangeable accessories. Battery life remains the primary concern, with reports of 15-20 minutes per charge, though most find this acceptable with spare batteries or for smaller yards. Despite minor complaints about weight and occasional string durability issues, the overall sentiment remains strongly positive.

Would RecommendI've used a bunch of weed whackers in my life - corded B&D, entry level cordless Kobalt and Craftsman, 4 cycle Troybilt - and this one is the best I've used so far! The gas one was heavy and loud, the Craftsman and B&D were gutless, and the cheaper Kobalt 24v was awkward and hard to change the spool. This Kobalt 24v fixes all those issues - it's not heavy or awkward, cuts through thicker weeds quickly, and it's quiet enough that I don't wake the baby! I like that, similar to the gas powered, I c...
Impressed
Would RecommendVery torquey for a 24v trimmer. Great addition to my Kobalt collection and can easily weed eat an entire yard on one battery. Edging attachment chews thru the battery but is no problem when you have a few extra. Glad I purchased!

Do Not Waste Your Money
Would Not RecommendThis is the worse weed trimmer I have ever used. Heavy and not balanced. Battery does not hold a charge for long. Very cheaply made. Returning ASAP. Will never replace my beloved EGO trimmer that is lighter and easier to use.
Downgrade from previous trimmers
Would Not RecommendThis has a strong motor and good battery. Even if they started to change the battery form factor. The problem with this trimmer is three things. 1. The direction of the trimmer (counter clockwise instead of clockwise) ensures all the trimmings blow all over you and your legs and not into the yard. 2. The shield is worthless 3. The reason you should never buy this is the replacement string trimmers are not sold at lowes. The one they recommed is not for this model. If you buy is you will get on...

Bad Battery life
Would Not RecommendBattery life is non-existent. Supposedly rated for 40 minutes, doing good if it lasts 20.

Battery life not good
Would Not RecommendThe trimmer feels good, cuts good, but only lasts about 20-25 minutes. If you have a very small yard this would be ok. Just go with a gas trimmer, you will be more satisfied.

Battery life is not enough for a full job.
Would Not RecommendI like that you dont have to keep buying fuel for it. Easy to install and put together. What i DID NOT like was the power strength and how the battery did not last as long. String super weak and would shorten right away.

Battery powered taking over the gas equipment!
Would RecommendWhat I loved most about this trimmer was the sound. Night and day compared to the gas trimmer I recently had to replace. The idea that I no longer have to worry about the gas/oil mix makes me very happy! Also just pulling the trigger to start this trimmer is amazing! No more throwing out my shoulder with the pull string of the gas trimmer!

Good Trimmer for 24V Battery
Would RecommendHave had this for about a month now and works as expected. I have several 24V batteries from the tool line so the issue people have with runtime is not really an issue for me. I always have 8 4amp batteries ready to go. My only reason for not giving this trimmer 5 stars is the recommended purchases with on the website. it recommended i purchase the bule preloaded string trimmer spools. The spool is not compatible with the attachment capable 24V trimmer. I did purchase the trimmer attachment and ...
