What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this trimmer for its power, lightweight design, and seamless compatibility with existing battery systems and attachments. Many highlight its ability to cut thick weeds and tall grass with ease, quiet operation, and smooth string feeding. The ecosystem integration is a major draw for existing users, who appreciate shared batteries and interchangeable accessories. Battery life remains the primary concern, with reports of 15-20 minutes per charge, though most find this acceptable with spare batteries or for smaller yards. Despite minor complaints about weight and occasional string durability issues, the overall sentiment remains strongly positive.

Would RecommendCheaper than gas trimmer. Cuts thick weeds and tall grass clears quickly with good control Universal attachments for multiple tools. Battery last 20-40 mins. A little heavy. Good value since it can be expanded into other tools

Faulty out of box
Would Not RecommendFirst use and it powers on for 10 seconds. After waiting 30 seconds or so it will power on for 5-10 seconds and then shuts off. Took it back to Lowes for an exchange but they wanted me to pay the difference in cost. I purchased it when it was on sale and now it's $189 full price. They claim it couldn't be exchanged as it would need to be ordered and purchased as priced today. Total garbage and I'll look at other Home improvement stores.

It's light weight and balanced fairly well.
Would RecommendSo far so good. It's not quite as strong as my Dewat 60v but that's not a fair comparison. I live one 2 acres so I use this around my house and the battery lasts long enough to get the job done. Overall, it's a good weed eater and definitely a great price if you are already in the Kobalt line of tools.
