Electrical issues continue

Ice melts, floods electrical panel in drawer below. Inconsistent cooling. Worst fridge I’ve ever owned. It’s pretty, but doesn’t work. Repair people have given up hope.

Terrible - wasted $$$$ on service calls/repairs

The worst refrigerator ever. Purchased in 2018 and have spent at least enough to have been able to purchase a new refrigerator. Terrible ice maker. Ice making issues, interior lights go out, temp issues, leaking water dispenser, aurora board needed replaced more than 1 time. Just crazy. Love the look of this refrigerator but I’m tainted and will never buy another Kitchaide item as long as I live!!!

Built solely for looks, dreadful performance

First the good. It's a handsome design and looks very upscale. That's about it. I've had this very expensive refrigerator for 4 years now, and it is a severe disappointment. First - the ice maker. It's useless, as the fridge never is cold enough to keep ice. It quickly evaporates. To be fair, this is common among these awful "french door" designs. Bad buy

Terrible product. Started giving problems in the very second year motor replaced under warranty. Followed by freezer melt down - in year 2023 and another freezer fan issue in 2025. That’s 3 big issues in 8 years… and now…. The 4th one coming up, today I see the refrigerator not cooling ( food spoilt ) Avoid at all cost

Not long lasting

This fridge has caused so much stress. So many things go wrong and it has become too costly to fix. I replaced the ice maker at suggestion of Kitchenaid but it did not fix the problem. Water is leaking and no ice is producing. This fridge is not even 5 years old. Its beautiful to look at but a nightmare to live with. I dont know what to do now. I have a whole matching kitchenaid kitchen set

Loving it

Great choice for a year or 2...but not long term

We've owned for about 5 years now and will have to replace soon. Yes, it still works but not 100%. We've had to replace the ice bucket assembly as an ice clog broke a hole in the old one and it would clog up the works by getting ice under the bucket. Appliance Pro's Worst Repair Service ever!!!!!!!!!

Fridge is 5yrs old I have already replaced Ice maker, the fridge froze up had it fixed. but the fridge still isnt cold enough, I have been trying to get Appliance Pros to fix it but no luck. They have the worst repair service I have ever dealt with. I have call a dozen times no luck.at this point I really dont know what to do. I also have warranty work to be done.LED lights are defective. I would Love if Whirlpool would contact me through Email.

Love the look but not always the performance.

We bought our multi-door Kitchen-Aid refrigerator, cook top, microwave, oven, and warming drawer in 2017 during the remodeling of our kitchen. Lots of noise, constant failure of water etc

I bought this new and regret it. The engineering is terrible: it has a problem where air constantly gets into the water line due to a design flaw, and the air-flush procedure is absurd and requires manually pressing a button on and off for like an hour to flush many gallons of water through the system a bit at a time. Do NOT Buy

Purchased in July 2019 and have had multiple issues over the last 14 months. It started with freezer temperature issues. Third party repair company replaced a motor fan. Top interior lights stopped working and ice maker stopped working. Replaced ice machine. More fridge and freezer temperature issues. Third party repair company determined that there was a freon leak and indicated it was time to replace the fridge. I'm shopping for new fridges now and am surprised that KitchenAid is still selling...

Refrigerator garbage after <5 years

Component freezed up had to have it replaced, and once faulty component replaced less than 6 months motor noisy and ready to replace the entire refrigerator rather than throwing more money at this piece of garbage. Missed the lawsuit deadline re the failure of this frig. Don’t buy .

Easy set up

The instructions were easy to understand, there videos for visual aids, even adjusting the doors was made simple.

Disappointed

We purchased all KitchenAid appliances for our new home that we moved into in September. I had high hopes. Love the features of this fridge. The ice maker made ice once. It has not worked since October. Called to schedule service. Took weeks to get a new ice maker replacement. Installed last week. Doesn't work. Now the freezer is not freezing.
