What Customers Are Saying
This refrigerator has mixed reviews. Many customers praise its spacious design, useful features like separate temperature-controlled drawers and a three-drawer freezer. However, a significant number have experienced major issues like ice maker problems, cooling system failures, water leaks, and electronic control board failures. The quality and reliability seem inconsistent, with some very satisfied but others extremely disappointed. When functioning well, it is an excellent product, but the high rate of malfunctions makes it a risky purchase.

Would Not RecommendWORST piece of GARBAGE I've ever owned. Constantly broken, been repaired seven times, still has multiple problems including NOT GETTING COLD, its only job.

Great upgrade to fridge. Design is wonderful
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been loving my new fridge. The extra doirs for specific foods keeps me from opening the whole fridge to get a small item. Love the lighting too. I can see everything right away. The additional compressor keeps food chilled well. Everything is easy to get too, love the shelving with one that i can push back for taller items. Food stays fresh longer.

Nice concept, terrible mechanical reliability
Would Not RecommendThis is a horribly engineered appliance. We are now on our third repair for the same issue. The coils behind the veggie drawer and multipurpose drawer freeze up due to mechanical failure with those fans. When this happens, air cannot flow into the fridge and the temperature rises to over 60 degrees, spoiling everything inside. Despite getting all new fans a year or so ago, the same problem has surfaced again. The appliance repair states that this model is horribly defective due to its overly com...

Very Unreliable - Lots of Repairs
Would Not RecommendWe are now on our third repair for the same issue. The coils behind the veggie drawer and multipurpose drawer freeze up. When this happens, air cannot flow into the fridge and the temperature rises to over 60 degrees, spoiling everything inside. Despite getting all new fans a year ago, the same problem has surfaced again. The appliance repair states that this model is horribly defective due to its overly complicated airflow system. We purchased our 5 year warranty through Kitchenaid and they kee...

Worst refrigerator ever
Would Not RecommendWorst refrigerator I've ever owned. Have had nothing but trouble since purchasing. Continuous leaking, freezer temp isn't great, ice maker issues off and on. Don't waste your hard earned money.

Looks nice, breaks all the time.
Would Not RecommendIt is a nice looking refrigerator. However; it is constantly breaking down. Right now the freezer is no longer freezing anything and the temperature is rising. I'm going to lose half of what's in there. There is ice buildup in the back of the freezer so I have it set to a manual defrost. The water is turned off to it because of all the leaks and I bought a countertop icemaker. Hopefully it will start working again.

Stainless steel is rusting
Would Not RecommendI bought a stainless steel refrigerator for the look. And now the stainless steel is rusting. I’ve owned it for 14 months just now noticed it and now I have to deal with the extended warranty company that doesn’t give a crap about anybody. I would hope the KitchenAid would step up and know that they have a problem with their product, not being stainless steel or being contaminated in my opinion with carbon steel in the rolling process this needs to be replaced or fixed and is happening in multip...

Loud noise
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had service and repair to our home three times to fix a loud noise and it is still not fixed and the servicemen don’t seem to know what the issue is. They just order new parts and try and see if that fixes it. The noise is periodic and they have been there when the noise occurs and i have it recorded

Freezer Drawer Needs Replacing
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within a few days of installing the fridge, we noticed the freezer drawer had water/condensation on the top lip (see attached photo). We have to wipe away the water each morning and make sure the drawer is fully pushed closed with the drawers in their far back position. Otherwise, the entire freezer develops icicles throughout (see attached photos). The inspector can't see any breaks in the seal, but he said we need to replace the entire freeze...

Garbage
Would Not RecommendPurchased in March of 2026, ice maker leaking, seals on freezer causing frost. Overall quality is less than expected from much cheaper refrigerators.

Freezer issues
Would Not RecommendWe have had this refrigerator for about 5 years. We bought the whole set after a kitchen remodel and at first it was great. Love the space and the drawers are great, however the last year has been very disappointing. We have had to de-thaw the freezer every 6 weeks or so, due to the coils freezing over. When this happens, this ice maker also stops working. It requires taking the whole freezer apart, all of the drawers out the back cover off and using a hairdryer or heating gun to melt all of the...

Lots of room
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] one of the inside lights has turned brown, lip of door gasket has come off. It does keep things very cool in meat and crisper for vegetables, We took one shelf out to make it easier to keep tall items, this also makes it easier to see other things.

DON’T DO IT
Would Not RecommendI get it. It’s beautiful. It’s stunning. It’s the siren of refrigerators, luring you in with its good looks. Don’t fall for it. We’ve had this refrigerator for just four years, and it’s been one headache after another. I’ve had to completely defrost it multiple times because the freezer kept freezing over, and I’ve lost more food than I care to think about because of it. Thank goodness I bought the 5-year extended warranty, because otherwise I’d be furious about how much money I would’ve spent...
