Great cooling, not so great design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooling element of the refrigerator works great, however, there are some ergonomic design inconveniences. For example you have to open both doors in order to open the deli drawer or to open either of the fruit/veggie drawers. Also, the water is on the side with the extra flange so you have to open both doors to get water. We also had problems with the ice maker and it had to be replaced.

Buyer Beware!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Compressor is extremely noisy when operating and sounds like plane taking off. Freezer bins are cheaply done with wire baskets while fridge bins are very flimsy and most difficult to slide open/closed. Lose of space on upper shelf due to placement of water filter, display panel and other covered gadget. Bought bar fridge to store items that my new fridge could not accommodate. Does keep food cold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd time I’ve bought this fridge due to moving several times. Always been happy with it but this time the ice tray tends to spill ice to bottom of freezer so I took off one star for that.

Look at it in person before purchasing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about a month ago. I really wish I would have gone to the store and looked at it in person before purchasing it. It’s a little smaller than the one it replaced. The freezer is kinda tiny. The shelves have a gap at the pack of the refrigerator, allowing smaller items to fall back. I love the exterior finish, the cold water dispenser on the inside, and the ice maker.

Great looking fridge!

Moved into a new house and our dishwasher and oven/microwave combo are also KitchenAid and are exactly the same. We got a counter depth fridge and not used to the size yet. Much smaller than previous refrigerators we have had. Nothing wrong with it at all...just not used to it yet. The freezer seems to be really small which is the only negative thing I can say about the fridge Overall, love it ...

Pretty good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the refrigerator very much because I can see everything easily. It’s very easy to organize the two things I don’t care for is that the doors don’t always close properly. You have to double check that they’re closed. Also, it’s easy to turn the refrigerator off the button for the power is right beside the temperature adjustment. That’s a poor placement in my opinion.

It is great having nice cold filtered water at the push of a button, no more stocking up on water bottles. The ice machine is so convenient also, now I put ice in every drink I have. Plus it looks great, it really improved the aesthetic of my kitchen. It works great, it looks great, I’m definitely glad I got it!!

Not a good value, not recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottom gallon tray fell off and broke after a few days use of the brand new fridge, contacted Kitchenaid customer service, not helpful. Problem is still unsolved. Very disappointed. The quality of the fridge is not very good. I wish I didn’t have everything of kitchenaid for my new home

refrigerator appliance

New features I never had

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, when it was installed, the water dispenser dripped. It couldn’t be fixed. Another refrigerator was sent to me, same model, same problem. Now waiting for delivery on 3rd refrigerator that’s a different brand.
