Nice exterior, cheap interior... avoid this one!

We've been living with this refrigerator for about 2 months now. I initially liked it and selected it so that we could have a French door refrigerator option in a smaller footprint. We even waited 2-3 extra months for it since it went on backorder. Pros: Relatively spacious freezer, the water dispenser and the adjustable shelves. It also looks nice and sleek from the exterior. Great Fridge!

The tall containers of juice, miik, water don't fit well because its wasted space behind it. its also usless to put anything behind that because you have to remove everything to get to it. The crisper drawers also need to be re adjusted most times after opening them as they come off the track. love the...

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This refrigerator was in a condo that I purchased. I did not choose the appliance. The ice cube maker in the freezer makes FAR TOO MUCH ice! The produce drawers are small and I always have produce on a shelf. The light in the freezer is intermittent; sometimes it comes on and sometimes not when the freezer door is opened. There is condensation on the freezer door gasket and a new door has been ordered.

Highly functional refrigerator

Uneven temps, flimsy interior

I purchased this refrigerator along with two other KitchenAid appliances when I remodeled my kitchen. The exterior of the refrigerator looks nice, and I'm enjoying the ice maker and interior water dispenser. However, the interior temperature is inconsistent. I just measured a 44 degree temp of items kept on the top shelf, and a 33.4 degree temp of items on the bottom shelf. If I lower the temperature from the highest setting, items will freeze. Disappointed

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought a fridge almost a month ago. Since day one nothing but issues. The compressor is making loud noises. Called technician twice. Only answer. nothing wrong with the fridge. Have set fridge setting to level 4 out of 5. Maximum temp 5 degrees C. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

Not the best refrigerator out there.

We didn’t realize until we had it installed how really small the refrigerator section is. We keep having to remove front items to get to the back items because the shelf clearances are very tight. The adjusted top shelf!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Kitchenaid elevated white collection appliances are beautiful and sophisticated. I’m so over the cold greyness of stainless steel appliances. This model is a bit smaller than the one I had before but it makes up in depth. It’s practical inside all glass for visual and cleaning is going be a breeze. The only con for me is the temperature control panel at the front to just as you open the door. It takes away valuable space.

Cheap model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the lowest end of the current KitchenAid inside the door water model. This is what GHO supplied us and we’re stuck with it. I have friends who own Kitchen Aid and have nothing but problems and I assume that we’re gonna be having the same problem. Is unacceptable to be given this type of material with no resolution to putting things in the refrigerator.

Okay, not great

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Layout of the fridge is odd, takes alot more moving items around to squeeze in weekly grocery trips. Crisper drawers are always slightly open. Lighting is very bright.

Not designed smartly…

I bought this 3 years go. The water dispenser is inside the unit. You need two hands to operate it and it drips a few drops after each use. Also, the compressor noise is too loud and annoying.

Don't Believe Rebate Offers and Not Cold Enough

The "applies to all major appliances" rebate program application I submitted was denied because they claimed this refrigerator is not a "major appliance". Ridiculous. Great fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good! We’ve had our new refrigerator for a couple of weeks and have had zero issues. The only thing I would probably change in my next one would be the water in the door vs. inside the fridge. However, I love how much ice we get.
