Fridge looks great, Functionality is Horrible

Icemaker has never worked properly. Ice bin has to be emptied often. Solid slabs of ice. Fridge leaks. Look at other brands that are more reliable

Leaks Freon - Bad Design

The unit has a poorly designed seal from the compressor and leaks Freon which causes the unit to stop cooling. First the feeezer gets a little warm and eventually it cannot cool the fridge either. Had tech here to try and get the joint to seal with no luck. Now I think I need to buy a new one. Yet my 20 year old Kenmore Beer Fridge still works like a champ. Pathetic.

Beautiful Refrigerator, Poor Ice Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seems like a good refrigerator, but we have had it a month and the ice maker quit working!

2 years later: decent product with no issues

We've had this unit for almost two years and it hasn't had any major or minor issues. The only thing of note is that the exterior scratches fairly easily so be careful with magnets. We use the water dispenser/ice maker constantly and the latter has clogged only a handful of times. It's an easy solve: remove and break up the ice. We haven't used the removable marinating drawer once; seems like a bit of a marketing gimmick but maybe it's useful for others. If you refrigerator a lot of beverage...

DO NOT PURCHASE

Purchased two years ago. The first one was a lemon. The replacement isn’t any better. Had it repaired SEVERAL TIMES. Lost hundreds of dollars in spoiled food. The fridge doesn’t stay cooled, all but the drawers… all the food in there freezes!

I kept going back to this one for its features and felling that KitchenAid had a good reputation. Have had it just little over a week. So far very happy with the purchase and down the road looking to replace other appliances with KitchenAid.

great depth

It's Beautiful!

It took us a while to unpack all the containers and gadgets it came with, but when it was all put together, it's a showstopper.

It came packaged very well and fit perfectly(be prepared to remove ALOT of plastic and tape). Works fine, but we don't love the layout

While it claims 24' of space, it feels like much less than the 25' that we gave up with our old standard depth unit. The shelves have no adjustability up and down. Refrigerator went out after less than 3 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator went out in less than 3 months. Two technicians have come out as part of my warranty and it still isn’t fixed. Now we won’t have food to get my family though the winter storm this weekend. Very disappointed.

Efficient lay out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to replace our 12yo kitchen aid - this one has more cu ft despite being same size. Only 4 stars because water dispenses warm-room temp water, a the ice dispensers ice gets everywhere - ice machine is LOUD. Fridge stays cold tho- even tho its cabinet depth so that part is amazing
