What Customers Are Saying
The wire strippers appear to work well for a variety of wire sizes, with users praising the ease of use and consistent stripping. However, some customers experienced issues when trying to strip thinner or stranded wires, with the jaws not gripping properly and the tool's performance degrading over time. The mixed reviews suggest the tool may not be suitable for all wire stripping needs.

The best wires stripping tool
First best feature is it can hold the wire but not cut into it. Thus, no damage to the wire cover. Second best feature is you can set the length of wires to be stripped. Stripping wire is so easy with this tool.

Horrible wire strippers
Would Not RecommendThese “supposed” wire strippers are a total joke. I can’t believe Irwin would put their stamp of approval on them. I am so disappointed in these. I bought two of them and they both do the exact same thing…NOTHING! Geez I have a cheap pair from HF and they actually strip some of the sheath off of the Romex wiring.

Works as intended
Would Recommendhave used to strip wires, cut wires, and crimp. no problems at all
great tool
Would RecommendI am a electrician and I don't use these every day, this tools saves me so much time when I do use it. I use this tool the most when I am working a retro light jobs. The ease to strip small wires and the time saved make my life so much easier. Great buy! I would definitely by again!
Great for stripping wires, not the best crimper
Would RecommendGood for the price, great for stripping automotive type wires but not the best for crimping, you can cut wires too. You need a lot of room to crimp, it is done in between the handles, so although you can use these as a one tool does it all it is not preferred. I bought this for frequently stripping of wires for automotive wiring repair which it works great but it does not perform like I need for all of my crimping, most of which is butt splices in tight spots for truck marker lights. Also when c...

Great
Would RecommendWorked great. I bought this strippers for my house reworking since I have a pair of Klein at work but this once are working better for me. Klein feels too heavy and the screw to adjust the length falls off. This strippers loose the tightness on the stripping adjustment over cuts but that same problem happen with the Klein so just make sure you check the adjustment every couple of cuts

So much quicker
Would RecommendOnce you get the hang of how these work very nice. I think it's better not using the plastic stop. Just eyeball it and it works great. Strips it clean.
Good pliers, if you know how to use them.
Would RecommendFelt the need to leave a review here due to the low rating I'm seeing... I've had mine for a few years now and have used them on wires as small as 22 gauge and as big as 10 gauge. You can use the yellow nub to adjust how long the strip will be (or rotate it out of the way). You can also adjust the screw to help with fine-tuning the grip for stripping. I have found that if you try to strip slowly, it doesn't always work fully. Not really often that it comes up, and it's not really an "issue" a...
