TOTALLY AMAZING FAN! It was easy to install too. It took a while, but the directions are excellent.

like the fan but the wiring failed immediately

The fan is quiet and moves a lot of air but the lights failed immediately and requires a replacement wiring kit to be sent from the factory. Good thing I am a retired engineer and can replace the wires when the kit arrives. They said current protection had failed and required a complete replacement of the wiring harness but that I would not have to dismount the fan.

Humming Noise

The install wasn't that bad, but did take awhile. The grommets in the blades was the worst part. The fan looks beautiful and provides adequate air flow. My only problem is there's a humming noise that I can't get to go away. Also, balancing the very slight wobble is almost impossible. I don't believe the hum is due to the wobble which is hardly noticeable, it starts humming the moment it is turned on and the hum remains constant unless you change fan speeds. this is a beautiful fan but getting it installed is a different matter, you would think with the size of the blades that it would create more air flow than a 54 but it doesn't, ALSO you can never get it to balance it will ALWAYS wobble. I tried to use the kit included with the fan to balance it but it didn't work so I purchased another kit by hunter and it also did not work. if you leave the fan on low you will never have a "wobble" problem but for a large space it would need to be on high and i...

Love it, but hurt to put together

Easy to follow assembly, but inserting the gromets in the blades is a ridiculous step...about pulled all my thumbnails away from the skin! Think they could have pre-installed them or designed something easier. But, once done, the fan is nice.

Beautiful Fan!!

Just purchased this fan and I love the air flow it provides giving the fact that on the fastest speed, the blades to go so fast! Only concern i have, is that when I need to turn on the light or the fan, when i pull on the "chains" the fan moves! It doesn't wobble or move at all when the fan is on, but only when I pull on the "chain" to turn on the light/fan. Does anybody else experience that? Not sure if that's normal of this fan. Worst quality control ever

I purchased this fan for my living room with 12 foot ceilings. I new this was going to a bit of a task with numerous trips up and down the ladder. I didn't know this was going to be the worst fan I have ever installed. All of the screw holes still had metal slivers in them not allowing the screws to start threading. This is a nice looking fan. I enjoy the size (70 inch) for the den. Just wished the light kit was a little less cookie cutter.

Beautiful fan!

We replaced our builder-grade fan with this one and couldn't be happier. Love the very slow breeze feature which is slower than the low setting on fans but just enough to move the air in the room! Very quiet and the light provides adequate light for our very large family room.

Love This Fan

This fan was perfect for my large vaulted ceiling living room. First the colors match the other light fixtures I have in the house. The fan itself is light weight for the size. The motor is silent I cannot hear the fan running. It puts out a nice breeze even on the low setting. I am not sure what the serenity speed is like because I had the fan installed with a 3 speed remote control. Good in large room

Fan circulates air in 20 x 20 room with windows covering one side. Room is much more comfortable than with a/c only.

Beautiful Fan

Beautiful fan; makes a stunning fixture in the living room. Fan blades were not as easy to install as the "pop-on" ones from a previous fan we purchased, but nevertheless went together easily. Had some difficulty with the wiring - two models had to be returned before we got one where both the fan and the light fixture worked simultaneously. Third worked like a charm. Even on low speed, this fan creates great air movement.

It's an "ok" fan, but there are few other choices

This is the same fan as the Costco Fernwood 70". Lowes, costco, and home depot all order these fans per their specifications from various manufacturers. The installation instructions in any of these fans are AWFUL. I can install these fans with my eyes closed since I've now installed 6 of them. However, with this kit, because it was my first, I hung and removed this fan about 10 times because the instructions were so illogical. There were no instructions for wiring in the included remote. Smart looking fan for a large space

I was looking for a large diameter fan but wanted the design to be somewhat understated. This is the perfect choice. It has a visual presence without being overbearing or "fussy" It was relatively easy to install because it weighs much less than you would think. It has four speeds ---the fourth is a very slow speed called "serene" I'm not making this up. At that speed it is pretty useless --maybe if you just want the ambiance of a moving fan -I'm not sure. But overall I love it.
