Ratings & Reviews for Generac Gas-Powered (49 State) Portable Generator w/COsense 8125 Starting / 6500 Running Watt Gasoline Single fuel Portable Generator

Great Generator just a bit too loud.

Overall this is a product I would definitely recommend! A tank of gas with approximately 40-50% load lasted me about 12 hours. And everything ran really smooth. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it's pretty loud.

powerful for the price

love my new Generac generator. starts SO easy. has an electric start but I wanted to see how it pull started. 1st pull and I didn't really pull hard

Terrible services for defective products

Unit was defected. No output power. None of authorized shop recommend can fix it. Could not refund to due to crazy FleetFarm policy. Running around for 2 weeks trying to get it fix. Loss $20 to drain gas not cover by warranty. Terrible experience. Don't recommend it.

convenient and versatile

This is an electric start- so convenient and it is gas or propane fueled - also a plus.

Great generator happy to be protected

Love dual fuel is amazing, feel protected against outages

Excellent power generator well worth the money

I like the ease of use as well as the consistant power no hassle unit we are very pleased with this generac generator and so far have had zero issues it has worked exactly as advertised very happy with this purchase all aspects

Make sure handle is on right works better

I like that the adapter cords come with the product.

There’s a pull cord in case the battery dies.

This generator was easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I like the fact you can use gas or propane.

Hard to beat a Generac!

We live in an area where power goes out frequently. This generator gives us peace of mind knowing we can at least keep some lights, our fridge and well pump running. We can also connect our furnace if need be. But even without that, having the basics make a big difference. We've had power out for 5 days in the past- Now, we will be able to keep some things running. My husband put this together in about an hour, and the handles and large wheels make it really easy to push around. I was able to mo...

Only one issue

Well made and solid. Seems like it will run forever. My only issue so far is it won’t run on propane. I used the provided hose and regulator to connect it of a bulk tank. It won’t start and only sputters for a couple of seconds. Runs like a champ on gas so I know the rest of the system works.

Would buy sfain

Excellent product. Well constructed and easy to operate. Assembly instructions are a little weak. Some things not very clear.

Overall, great product just a little loud but gets

Holds a lot of power For what I need it for. Handlebars make it easy to move around.

Does what it’s supposed to!

We lost power for the 3rd time in a month! Rushed to get a generator to be able to run a fridge, fan and a tv! Worked great….just keep in mind it is HEAVY!!! Have help to load and unload it!

Emergency generator

Easy assembly, started right up after servicing and following instructions. Love that it runs on gasoline or LP gas bottles. Also that it has both electric and manual pull start options.

Comes with all hookup cords. Starts easily.

I like where can connect to propane.

Great service
