Failed when needed

Lasted two hours after Helene knocked out power. We were without power for 12 days. Had Lowes install it through a vetted installer who had no idea what they were doing. Somehow it passed inspection but after the failure we had a reputable person look at it, complete rebuild and fixed all issues.$$$

Dependable

A month after installing the generator, we lost power for 16 hours and the unit ran flawlessly.

Great value

Just picked up, so it’s not up and running yet. Only 4 stars due to it has not been run as of yet. And customer service inside the store was a bit disappointing. First woman I ask how to claim my order had 0 customers and rather than walk me to the kiosk about 15 steps away I was just pointed to go down this hallway. So far so good

We’ve only had it for 3 weeks but so far so good. We haven’t had to use it yet. So far the weekly maintenance exercise has been great.

Generator Upgrade

This is our second Generac generator because, after 19 years with our first one, we wanted to upgrade to one with more current features/functions. Our first one was purchased in Sept. 2007. It gave us optimal, quality, and dependable service. It is still working today, in another household, with a family whom we gave it to. We look forward to and are confident that we will have the same level of quality service with our recent new upgraded generator!

Hurricane Prepared

4 years after Hurricane Ian it was time to replace a portable 5kw generator with a whole home generator. We will now be able to have the entire house on standby power should another major outage occur. Being familiar with the Generac company based in Wisconsin, this was the only generator considered.

Thanks Lowes for a great deal on our Generac generator. Everything from the sale to delivery was seamless. We have comfort in knowing that we have a back up plan for bad weather!!

Faster than anticipated!

Performs faster than expected. Only power outage to date had the generator running in 7 seconds and power restored within 15 seconds.

Low Quality Terrible Customer Service

This generator broke down within 3 months of putting it in service. The company that came to service it was great, they found the problem and ordered the parts. It took Generac more than 3 weeks to get the parts. Don’t waste your money on these generators.

I bought this before we had our house delivered, we haven’t quite finished moving in but so far the unit seems to be good quality.

Yes, I would buy a Generac again

I bought this last year and despite several power outages, we always had with power as though the outage wasn’t happening.

Gets the Job Done

I like the peace of mind in having a standby generator.

Generator is great! Mobile Link app….not so much.

The unit was installed on a Friday and we lost commercial power for 23 minutes the following Monday. The unit operated flawlessly! The only drawback I’ve found is the inability to see realtime unit loading and voltage in the Mobile Link app.

Time will tell. Only been 30 days so unable to honestly rate

Seamless Power

We purchased a NextGen 24kW w/transfer switch about a month ago and have already had utility power interruptions twice. The system operated seamlessly. We are very happy with the purchase, installation, and its operation.
