It’s a good-looking piece of equipment! It appears to be strong and durable. The operability and functionality are relatively easy to understand.

Power Still Out

After waiting for 1.5 years for delivery/installation and numerous reschedules with installation, We have had 2 power outages since installing this product and both times it did NOT turn on. The first time I managed to manually start it at 3 AM, but this time (2 AM in the freezing rain) it would not start. We even had the installers out after the first failure to work on it. I was assured they found the issue and fixed it. Well, we are without power again. Thanks Lowe's!!!

Generator is Flawless,everything else, not so much

Silly long process if you do not have a gas meter installed & live in an area covered by TECO Energy/People's Gas. I would advise you hold off on your Generac purchase once you have a meter. However, once the meter is in, the Generac install goes relatively easy. Make sure your project manager is committed to being your advocate as well as dealing with Lowes Corporate is less than a positive experience. Lightforce is the contractors they use to install in my area, and I wish that I had known...

Remember to do your maintenance!

I really like the new GForce motor. They have haudraulic lifters instead of solid lifters. The non GForce with solid lifters need valve adj at first 50hrs. Overall great product. Remember to maintain you generator...oil, filters, plugs, test battery, clean batt term, test fuel pressure, upgrade firmware, check all electrical connections. Do this once a year you will always have a unit that runs whem you need it.

Great Product. Easy to install the product material that was provided with the generator was very clear and precise information. This is a first-class generator. This is something that the Queen Valley Fire Dept needed to provide a safe cool place for or elderly people to go to during power outages.

Currently I have a +500lb lawn ornimate

Not real happy with my Generac yet. Installed in May 2022 and had it active for about a month. Called Generac for instructions on how to take it offline for a month or more while out of town. When I returned and tried to bring it back online it was dead and required a new control board. Fortunately it was covered under warranty.
