Would RecommendI have installed Generac generators for over 20 years. They just keep running as long as they are regularly maintained, i.e. oil change, air filter, spark plugs, valve adjustment when needed. No wonder Generac has over 70% of the generator home standby market. Not cheap but a wise investment with an aging power grid and increasing power outages due to storms.

Great product, but for installation look elsewhere
Would RecommendThe generator is excellent.... HOWEVER... Lowe's rep will give you unrealistic installation quotes w/o even checking the site. Even after home visit, Lowe's will prove a real challenge to install the generator. Your best bet... arrange installation with reputable company... use likes of Collins Control & Electric Inc (out of Fort Collins).
