We have not installed yet. Came with a 200amp transfer switch. Wish we could have had a choice of transfer switch size. We needed a 150 amp. Delivery was super quick.

worst installation in my life!

Ordered and paid in July after getting a proposal from Lowe's. initial install attempted in November 4 months later! Could not finish because power shutoff not scheduled! Plumbing work not done until December! in January they came back to finish install and powered was off so it could be finished. But no inspection was ordered! I had to ask why and was told someone else does that. Now ii am waiting for county inspection and start up person to come. only go to Lowe's if you are will to wait 7 to...

I ordered the wrong size and the shipping company returned it. I called Lowes and they verified it was returned. I chatted with someone on the app 10 days later and they could not find where it was returned. I offered to forward the email from the shipping company and they declined. Now, almost 2 weeks later, still nothing. If you have to return this item, beware. Evidently it's returned but then no one can find it and you're stuck paying for an item you don't have for the next 7 years.

We have this generator, bought from Lowe’s and installed 1.5 years ago- only 11 hours total run time and it failed 3 hours into a natural disaster. Licensed repair guy said many of these units have had faulty brushes and he’s seeing tons of failures. Genuinely feel like there was no point in making this investment now since we cannot depend on it.

We purchased our 24kW Generac back in '21. It was delivered to the house a week after we purchased. Got it installed, and things were ok for almost 3 years. Going into this year, there was maybe 45 hours of run time total on the generator. Oil was changed out each year. Almost 2 months ago I called to have someone come service it. Damaged Generator

I bought a 24kw generator from Lowes online and for some reason it was not available for pickup in store so I chanced it and had it delivered. It showed up today and I helped the Estes driver unload it on to my tractor...not sure why Estes was involved. then he stuck his hand out and said "a little sumpm sumpm"? Anyway, there were 2 holes in the box and the generator was damaged. I called Estes and they said to call Lowe's. here are some pics.

Don't Buy A Generac From Lowe's

I paid in full for my Generac one year ago and I still don't have a working generator. They hired a subcontractor that is located 4 hours away from my home in South Florida. They waited 6 months to apply for the installation permit and another 6 months to install. The installer couldn't get the generator to start (probably because it was manufactured 2 years ago and has sat idle for the entire time). Was told when I applied for a Lowe’s credit card I would get 20% off my first purchase after purchasing I was told on up to $100 dollars My purchase was $6356. So it didn’t help any and I’m not very happy
