Peace of mind

Love the backup Generator. It looks very nice and no longer worry about power outages and throwing food away. I wish it was quieter.

I bought this generator, for when im not home and not having to worry about frozen pipes or sump pump not work because of a power outage.

Glad I got it.

One year into it no problems and it has been in use a number of times.

Good machine

Bought it a couple of years ago. I love it. gives me piece of mind during inclement weather and storms. I really like the connivence of auto transfer and standby, no dragging cords or hauling fuel. This day and time everybody needs a back up generator.

NOT HAPPY CONSUMER!!

I bought the 22Kw air-cooled propane unit after 14 years my previous Generac 20Kw air-cooled propane generator died. As an owner, I am NOT happy about not having the choice of how long to exercise the generator because someone in Generac decided I didn’t need the option of making that decision on a generator that I purchased from your company. This is a VERY BAD business decision on your part. As a consumer, those decisions should be left up to the owner, NOT someone in your office.

Unit seems great, but WIFI is a bit hinky!

Wifi reception is poor. Lots of drops. Don't know if it needs more antennae or it doesn't try to disconnect. I suspect there was a module issue but it would have cost me to have someone out. Oughtn't they be able to run diagnostics on the module?

Lives up to expectations. Consistent information on it's operational status.

Don't communicate.

I don't know why the generator cannot communicate.

reliability issues

I've owned this unit for almost a year. It's the new version and I have had numerous problems with it. Parts were changed and the unit is now operating properly. Service people were great. I feel like I'm part of the beta testing team. But I do like the generator design and now that the problems have been resolved (hopefully), I'm looking forward to a reliable future.

Set up took entirely too long. Too many back and forth to get it to connect

Peace of Mind

Purchased late July in case Hurricane Season ramps up.. This hasn’t happened, but I sleep better knowing our air conditioning will work in the event of a power outage.

Great decision

So far, so good. No regrets about this major purchase. The power went out in the neighborhood last week and my power transition was flawless. I looked outside to determine what happened and realized the power was out.
