Would RecommendAlthough I have just had this unit installed a month or so ago, my wife and I are so happy of knowing that we will have power when there is an outage. The cool thing is that it is scheduled to run every 2 weeks for a few minutes. We have experienced this ‘run’ and it is very comforting to know we have a great solution in case of an outage. In addition, the noise level was outstanding!

Would RecommendIt’s about two years old . I have done the maintenance myself using generic oil and filters spark plugs and air filters no aftermarket products and it ran 8 days and nights this past January during the worst ice storm I have ever been through it ran everything flawlessly

Reliable backup
Would RecommendIf the power goes off during a storm it is sure nice sitting in the dark for 20 to 30 seconds and then the Generac fires up and our whole house power is back on. The only way to tell when the hydro power is back on is when the Generac shuts off without any interuption of power.
