Great Overall Microwave

Powerful microwave. Vent works great. Light is nice and bright under microwave.

One Big Flaw

You can only adjust the cook time in 15 second intervals. This is very annoying if you want to warm something for 10 or 20 seconds. If I had known this beforehand I would never have purchased this microwave.

Love my new microwave . The extension for vent is a great feature. Like the gray interior , easy clean. Highly recommend .

Recommend the PVM9225SRSS

The new microwave performs exactly as expected. The only issue we experienced is that the first unit the dealer installed was defective (it did everything but cook). The defective unit was subsequently replaced with the unit now in service, which works well. Among the nice features of this particular model are the extendable exhaust intake and the LED down-light.

Nice way to warm

After searching for awhile this Microwave appears to be a quality piece! Not too loud and love the ext vent. It draws excess heat and some of those foods odors out that you really don't want to linger.

Works Fine

It is a little weird with the knob instead of a simple number key pad, but I am getting used to it. It is nice the the clock blue tooths to the range so only one needs to be set.

Slide out fans - great on paper less so in reality

It works as expected…mostly… except that I would have expected more draw from the fan in the slide out hood (that’s why we bought this model) - it’s almost imperceptible. There are lots of ancillary gaps around the slide out part so I assume fumes are getting sucked from all the intended and unintended openings…..but ….. The rear fan openings are exhausting well - paper held up to them holds fast….BUT … when I do the same to the front ones…. the paper falls right off.

Best microwave

This microwave has the extended vent that works perfectly.Style and design are awesome.The only thing is have no numbers on pad for time,but not a deal breaker.Once learn the cooking type and options,won’t go back to standard microwave ever again.

Mediocre dials, good fan

It works fine but is really a pain to have to dial in the time (and only in 15 second increments), then figure out how to dial in lower power. My husband loved the ability to pull out the fan though - that offsets the mediocre dials.

Microwave vent hood works great

Having the vent hood extend out over the cooking surface is a great feature of this over-the-range microwave hood vent. And the fan has plenty of power to draw the smoke and odors outdoors. The dial knob takes a heartbeat to get used to, and I do miss a keypad to set cooking time and timers, but still gets the job done.

Love the built in fan

I really like having my new microwave over the stove. The fan is really nice.

Just got our new microwave installed and we are extremely pleased, not only does it look beautiful but the fan works beautifully great suction and even better with the telescoping fan “two thumbs up” for this product! And unlike other reviews we had read, our “new in box microwave” did come with all the paperwork that you would expect to get with your brand new product.

Range hood extension really makes the difference

The extendable hood, along with the powerful fan, has effectively stopped all cooking smells in the house. The extra 5" of hood coverage really makes a difference. Plus the fan is 400 CFM, a 25% increase over our last microwave.
