My new microwave is great, easy to clean and operate

Great Product.

I love this new Microwave. Works as expected. Was looking for the best exhaust option for an over the stove Microwave. This works great for removing all cooking fumes and smoke.

Broken slider vent of GE profile OTR microwave

The slide in/out is not working properly. It won't shut close and and won't open. You need to lightly force it to open and closed. It was installed only last Dec 18,2024. I need to contact GE and hopefully they will fix it. I bought this microwave because of this extendable vent

Great Microwave!

Great microwave! One of the few that fits our space and has lots of features.

Warning: Halogen light is hazardous

I bought this to replace an over-the-range microwave that died and it fills the space perfectly and looks good. However, the “surface light” which shines over the stove is so ugly. It’s off- center and the halogen bulb glares through the glass, plus it’s *dangerously* hot! If you use that lamp it also makes the inside of the microwave oven super hot — I put a little room thermometer inside and it’s reading 100+degrees F, and mind you, this is without having used the microwave for cooking, just ...

Unsure but totally surprised

I was hesitate about this particular model due to the fact it had the knob, and I did not know who it would look. Fast forward it looks nice and the surface light is bright which I am thoroughly excited about. I tested other functions and was quite surprise. The reheat button I am impress. My husband reheat or uses the microwave for everything. So this reheat element is the best.

Everything amazing

Fan works amazing, I love the product, easy to operate.

G.E. PROFILE MICROWAVE

My other unit was a full 36 inches and didn't I need to buy additional side panels. It was larger and better looking. I wished that GE had not stopped making that model because it was better overall.

Great microwave

Definitely a big upgrade from our prior microwave. Works well so far and the fan is great ( this was one of the reasons we upgraded) Not a huge fan of the dial to determine the time, but this isn't a huge inconvenience

Controls are disappointing

It works well for heating, but I miss the 5 instant minute buttons from previous models. New controls are somewhat cumbersome and not intuitive, requiring many more strokes or actions.

Simple to operate. I love the vent, and the extended vent.

Really like the expanding vent hood. Syncing the microwave with the oven via Bluetooth, so the lights and vent automatically come on when a stove top burner us turned on is a very nice feature.

I have had GE Profile products in my home for twenty years. They are great products. Reliable, easy to work with and an amazing value ! Extended vent feature

I love the extended vent hood feature. It helps to capture the steam from the front burners which was always a challenge for my last over the range microwave .

Good Product brand

Buttons are hard to push,difficult with arthritis. Three steps to turn on the Microwave., too many steps. Should have quick instant start of 2minutes and seconds, Not push Cook time, turn knob for time then Start. Consult a consumer not just the design engineer.

Great choice

We love the look of the GE Profile Microwave and the cooking options it has. The power it brings to reheating food and easy controls as well. The simple push out Front extending vent is awesome, that keeps your house from smelling like last night's dinner.

You get what is expected

Works well but you need to adjust power settings to meet your needs. It takes a bit to handle khob rather than all buttons.

Great features like the pull out exhaust fan.
