Great microwave

My only criticism of this product is that the timer can only be set in 15 second.

Do not purchase

I have had this microwave since september of 2023. I didn't start using the microwave until January of 2024 when my kitchen was complete. It died about a month ago. So...I used it for a year and a half, and now I have to buy a new one. Absolutely unacceptable.

Solid choice with great hood feature

Appreciate the easy-to-use touchscreen and dial combination. Microwave is very powerful, and the extra pop-out ventilation hood is awesome. I use it all the time when cooking on my range. The only thing that would have been helpful would be a rack--I didn't realize the microwave didn't come with one, and there aren't any peg-holes on the sides to attach one.

Looking great!

Just got it installed last night. I'm going to love the extra fan. From the photos it looked obnoxiously large, but it isn't, and is so easy to use. You just push on it and it goes in or out very nicely. It was easy for the installers, complete with template, etc. I heated up a up of water and it was easy. Now to learn the controls. I still haven't figured out the knob, but it shouldn't be hard.

Vent fan works well

Works good, but cheap build quality.

I love GE Microwaves. I have used many different brands in places I have lived as well as other people's homes. GE has always stood out to me for the best performance. This microwave works well and no issues so far. However, I am pretty disappointed in the build quality, especially for the price. The cheapo whirlpool I took out was way more sturdy and felt like it would hold up to daily use better. This new microwave was kind of a stretch on the price for me, and the door just feels cheap. ...

Over cooktop microwave

Cooks evenly. Power level good. Looks nice. Feels like plastic handle. Would prefer keypad instead of dial. It takes longer to set and only has 15 second intervals. Unfortunately installer took instruction manual with him.

Nice microwave, looks great, exhaust fan is very powerful, bright LED light, big enough inside , so easy to install.

Extending fan is great

Great microwave. Cooks food as expected and the large interior is nice. The controls are simple and easy to use. We thought the knob to set the cook time might be bothersome but it’s really not bad. The microwave itself and the fan are both on the loud side. I thought for a modern microwave it would be a bit quieter. The extending fan is a nice feature and it definitely helps capture a little more steam and smells. I would recommend this microwave.

Always one thing

Thought I would love this microwave. Like the adjustable stove vent, capacity, features. Heats quickly and evenly. Then the interior light stopped working about a month after I bought it. Can get the light to flicker if I slap the top of the interior. Of course this light is not accessible so it looks like I'll just have to do without.

Great Features

Took long time to get this appliance, almost 2 months from the order date, at the end this appliance is awesome and works perfectly well and it has enough room for big dishes.

Not worth the price

Stopped working after a year. Plastic components in the pop out vent that break off. You have to unscrew the frame to clean the filters. Don’t buy it.

Excellent Product!

This GE Microwave looks great, is easy to operate, works perfectly, is priced competitively, and includes many useful features! It compliments our GE Oven and GE Refrigerator nicely.

Love the functionality but not the durability

In general I've been happy with the functionality of this microwave, but I've been deeply disappointed in the durability of both this and the GE Profile gas range that sits below it. On both the microwave and the range, the handles have delaminated. What looks like aluminum or stainless is a sheet of silver-colored paper (for lack of a better word), which has wrinkled up to the point that it looks as if it's about to come off. Turntable

Just had this microwave installed today. l Love the look of it. Haven't had a lot of time to work with it yet but to say, I used it one time today to heat food. When I removed the dish, it chipped out a piece of glass from the turntable. Very disappointing. Had my old microwave (LG) for 12 years and never replaced one thing on the microwave. I hope this isn't an indication of things continuing to break. Will have to see how things go.

Amazing Microwave (The Fan Though Is Epic)

Huge fan of this microwave. It’s honestly one of my favourite units I’ve ever used or owned. My favourite feature is the push to open fan for above the stove.
