Nice Microwave

We bought this to replace our 21 year old microwave. It looks nice and works well. We like the idea of the extendable fan area but for some reason our front filters aren't working. Hopefully, it was an installation mistake and we can get it to function. We like everything else about the microwave.

Coffee warmer extraordinaire

Works well. Have warmed up coffee. Made a few meals in it. Love the fact that the bottom vent can extend beyond the microwave when using the new gas stove to cook.

Wonderful

I love this microwave especially with the soft touch additional fans. It help keep my microwae cleaner from steam. Touch pad is easy and I love the 30 seconds feature.

This is a great microwave! The more powerful fan is obvious without pulling out the hood. Once you do, it's even better. The only reason I gave it for is that I find the controls less intuitive than I would want. That, however, is more subjective, my learning speed and preference.

Love the Microwave

I love the size, and ease of operation. With intuitive controls, bright lighting and strong fan, this OTR microwave really works well.

Great features and high quality

Very pleased with this microwave oven. The appliance is solidly built with plenty of manual and programmed heating options. We love the extendable oven fan system that allows better exhaust of steam and cooking smoke.

Great microwave! We love the fan and lights. We also find the link between the range and microwave (light and fan) to be very convenient.

Extend A Vent

This microwave is great; the extend a vent feature is just what I needed with my 36" range.

How do I use it?

I am not sure how many stars to give when still trying to use it. It didn't come with an owner's manual. I called GE to get one, but they told me to look it up on their website. Trying to read that on a cell phone is enough to make me go blind. So maybe I'll write a new review next year when I'm done pushing buttons and turning knobs to see what happens. Wish me luck.

Door Alignment Defect

I had THREE of this model delivered all with the same type of door defect. Anywhere from 1/8 to 1/4 inch mismatch at the top. An obvious bad production run. Quality control should have caught this. Unknown how many others with the same defect.

Nice unit

Very good exhaust fan output. Big interior. We installed it as a rear exhaust and found out a part of the installation template is off by just a little bit. The left side of the template matched up perfectly for the bottom bracket, but a hole on the right side bottom did not. Not a big deal, but was surprised it was off.

Easy to navigate

Surpasses expectations. Easy to set up and use. The exhaust fan is a little noisy.

Amazing features

Features, Features, Features. This one is like an extra oven. Making cooking large dishes easier. Besides the usual Microwave features, you can Air-fry and bake. And the pull out extender for the fan is great, especially when you have a lot going on on your stove and occasionally burn something.

Nice microwave but what’s up with this?

First a little programming note. To defrost food you need to enter the weight, makes sense. The weight must be entered in a decimal equivalent to 10ths of a pound! What a ridiculous feature. 8oz is entered .5 (halfway in tenths of a pound. 4oz should be .25 but you have a choice of 2 or 3, etc. What programmer couldn’t make is divisible by 16? It’s literally 1 line of code to define this. 1oz enter 1, 4oz enter 4 etc. Jeez, the 13 year old microwave I replaced was 0 to 16 in ounces. Other than ...
