Some burners would only partially work, it would cook slower than it should, and sometime burners just wouldn’t work randomly. Do not waste you time

Do not waste your time with this cooktop, it does not work, GE does not care to fix it and it is packaged horribly to begin with. We chose this cooktop for a kitchen remodel based on the listed features and the fact that it is made in the USA. The first cooktop we ordered came in after two weeks in a smashed box, so we had to refuse the order and wait for another. It's a pity that only black is available

We have just bought it. The previous GE Cafe was very good but the jar fell on the edge of the plate and cracked. It is not worth replacing it, so a new one at an affordable price. If the new one is like the previous one, it will be a very successful product, it is a pity that it is only in black (you can see the dirt), I will write a second review in a few months

Too much noise

I purchased this base on my friend's recommendation. we installed it 2 weeks ago. I am hearing very loud noise when I start the cooktop. The noise will increase over the time (which is supposed to be reduced once the pan is heated). I have asked my friends to come and check who are using the same cooktop. Glad we made the switch

The cooktop works great. Heats up fast and is consistent in holding the temperature. I love the ability to connect the two burners to heat together. Great feature for using the griddle.

Intuitive

Easy to use. The controls work as expected, and the visual feedback on the settings helps insure the heat setting I want. Heats up fast! Off means Off, Now! My biggest gripe is that the big element requires a big pan. We don't often cook big meals.
