Easy to use and easy to clean, wish we had done this years ago!

love induction

Just installed today. Easy. Replaced a GE radiant cooktop with glass damage and cracked top. Had induction in a previous home and loved it. Wish I could have a 36", but the opening is only for a 30". Hopefully we will love this induction cooktop as much as we loved our previous induction range.

Defective GE Profile Induction Cooktop

The unit did not work and was returned to the store. I lost the $ for installation and delivery but was given credit for the price of the unit.

Buy the appliance from someplace other than Lowe’s

I have been a Lowe’s customer for decades and never had trouble with them until the last two months. I like the cooktop but the big burner on the right side does not work at all. It has never worked, and the installers knew it and notified Lowe’s before they left our home. The cooktop was purchased at and installed by Lowe’s so we contacted them (as did the installer - who said Lowe’s would contact us - but they did not) after 4 days. Awesome cooktop!

I finally pulled the trigger and changed over to induction cooking. My new GE Profile boils water so fast! It is so cool (pun intended) that the surface stays safe incase you have little ones around the house who have exploratory little fingers. I have cooked on a regular electric, gas, & now induction cooktop and I can honestly say I am very happy with my purchase. Some reviews state there is a noise when cooking. There is but it is very minimal in my opinion.

Burner lock problem

Love the way it heats but one month of use and the burner lock control is stuck in the lock position.

Over priced for the product

Has a nice look to it but is louder than I expected and does not clean as easily as I assumed it would

look elsewhere

wish I would have stuck with another induction cooktop manufacturer. My GE Profile induction cooktop cost 2.5x what some of the other options did but died within 2 months of purchase. GE Warranty Service has taken over a month to get it repaired - still not working yet. In the meantime I don't have a functioning kitchen for the holidays. Stay away

Great product!

The Electric Cooktop is very spacious and it looks very modern. The food gets cooked very fast and it's easy to use. I recommend this product.

Induction love

We love our GE induction cooktop! It’s as responsive as cooking with gas but doesn’t expose us to toxic fumes like gas would. We had an electric cooktop before and always had problems with food burning because it was impossible to fine tune the temperature. The induction makes this problem a thing of the past.

First unit arrived with several chips in the glass

Awaiting replacement after returning the damaged unit. Chips in the cooktop glass were significantly airgapped from the packaging, so the cooktop most likely left the factory damaged. Will update if replacement arrives without damage

Induction stove top review

So far so good. It has a neat clean profile but, does not sit in the cut out as low as i would like. Despite some sort of gasket i still silicone caulk around base to prevent spills from getting under the stove top and in the gap between counter top and stove top. This gap, due to the gasket, is larger than i would have liked making caulking more difficult and visible.

LOVE IT!

Love our cooktop! It’s beautiful and using it makes cooking so much faster and easier than our gas cooktop. My husband loves it too!

dont know what this is

I used my pans on another person's cooktop before I bought this to make sure my pans will work. I was not able to use all of my pans on this top. My back burner will not stay on unless I have the front burner on first. I don't have a pan large enough to even use the huge burner. My biggest pan is too small for the big burner and too large for the smaller burner. So I cant even use half of my stove top

what's the most annoying sound in the world Aaaaa

cooks nice but when you are using a lot of burners it squeals like really bad random techno music. how did they think this was ok. and this is 3/4 inch taller than old ge profile stoves like php900dm1bb

Enjoying my new induction stovetop

I appreciate the Bluetooth app that provides connection with my stovetop. Controls are conveniently placed and easy to use. I paired with the GE 500 CFM 30 Inch Telescopic Downdraft Range Hood. It works well to clear smoke, steam and odors.
