It heats very nice. However pans have to be bigger than burners for heat to come on. I have tried the app numerous times and can't get appliance to load. Overall a quality top.

Worse then expected

After using this induction cooktop for a couple weeks now I can 100% say that I dislike it to the point of wanting to put back old broken stove. The touch panel is beyond confusing and slow to react. I have waited over 20min for a pot to boil and that is not how induction should work! Using the same pans on my old kitchen aid induction that this replaced would have been boiling in 5 mins! Even an old fashioned stove would have done this faster.

Never go back.

Only way to cook and looks great. No ugly gas burners sticking up or dirty residue around burners. Fast and clean to use, too.

A good induction cooktop choice

Nice cooktop. The controls are easy and function is just what I wanted. I reviewed several and this GE cooktop had all the features I wanted.

Not great

It shuts off in the middle of cooking and does not work with the smart pan.

Works great, easy to use

I'm so happy we switched to an induction cooktop. It heats up incredibly fast and is so clean and efficient. I picked this GE model over others because the controls and operation seemed very straightforward (some of the others had very complicated looking controls). We are pleased with how simple this is to use, how clean it looks, and how well it operates.

So far, so good. Almost instant response from controls to heat. A little concerned the first time I boiled a large pot of water for pasta, seemed to take longer than I was led to believe it would. Smaller burners are terrific, large burner seems slow or underpowered.

Looks and Cleaning

I like the way this cooktop looks installed in my granite countertop. It's surface cleans very easily.

I have had the cooktop for two days, and so far I am not excited about using it. I have had trouble getting the element to stay on with the induction pans that I bought. They are the correct size, but it doesn't register that the pan is there. It is extremely frustrating!

Chef-friendly!!

I really enjoy cooking with my GE cooktop! Prior to this I had a Jenn-Air cooktop. I’m really happy we chose to go with GE instead! The flat controls make it super easy to keep clean. However, I feel the technology in cooking the food is far superior and I haven’t had any boil overs or food scorching to the pan. A very chef-friendly product!!

Sizing not accurate

I wasted more than $1,700.00 and Loews support never called back regarding a refund. Now I have a box under my island colleciting dust.

Great features and design for a 30 inch cooktop.

I purchased a Convection Cooktop. So far so good. I replaced a 12 year old conventional cook top with convection. The features are great, easy to use and it is easy to clean. Food does not burn and stick to the surface. I am hoping I get at least 10 years of service from this new cooktop.

Gets the job done!

Works well. Makes a lot more noise than my previous brand of induction cooktop. The humming when using on High is almost constant. Otherwise, fine.
