New freezer under

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This quiet, spacious unit is excellent, so far. While the outside dimensions are the same as our previous refrigerator, the interior space is larger, don't know how that happens. The ice maker seems to produce well and the water supply through the door is excellent. The only negative is shelf adjustment. The range is somewhat limited and a little difficult to accomplish. Overall, happy we bought this.

Happy and Disappointed

Great Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't a GE customer until my builder used GE appliances. These appliances work great and are very well designed. Lots of "human engineering " went into these products. I am impressed and very pleased with how they work. Simple intuitive controls are great.

Good fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything is working well. But what they should have told us is that the freezer takes a really long time to get to temperature. Like almost 24 hours. It's a good thing we have another freezer so that we could store our food there until the freezer got cold enough.

First GE Profile Fridge

Excellent finish appearance with well planned internal storage especially on the door shelves. worth the price.

Perfect replacement for prior KitchenAid

It is quiet, energy efficient and well lit interior withefficiently designed shelving and storage areas in both refrigerator and freezer compartments. Temperature control is easy and unit cooled down quickly after installation. GE French Door Refrigerator

Unfortunately, the shelving and bottom freezer drawer keeps opening and setting off the alarm when the refrigerator French doors are opened or closed. Do your homework before you buy!

Nice appliance

Just the doors are hard to close you need to push them close

Praying it works a long time!

Compressor went out at 3.5 years , replaced finally after 7 weeks to then have the refrigerator working but not the freezer and finally deemed not repairable after 2.5 months without a refrigerator.

Loud Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator which is why when the last model died I bought the exact same one However. this one is extremely loud. The compressor is louder than the noise maker I use. I absolutely HATE that. I have a different one coming or I would have returned it immediately.

GE is a rip-off!

The refrigerator is average, but what makes me mad is that they put a chip in the water filter so you MUST buy filters from GE for a ridiculous price instead of off-brand filters that are just as good. I wish I would have paid to have my old fridge repaired.

Step down from old LG

very difficult to open ice in door from inside. Almost impossible to close door by just releasing it. Always takes a second effort to close it. previous LG and Maytag fridge doors closed just by giving them a slight push.

Expensive frig
