Great Saw

Purchased this after struggling with starting my gas chainsaw. My expectations were guarded knowing that a battery has limited charge. With 3 downed trees to process I needed good run time. I was very pleased with the battery life and operation of this Ego saw. It performed as well or better than my old gas unit, and I could get as much or more runtime on the 6 Ah battery as I could with a tank of gas. I cut thru 20 plus inch tree trunks with ease. Just an awesome chain saw

Great chain saw and another example of a fantastic Ego product. Used it for 2 hours today cutting up dead falls on a Boy Scout property to go to the wood splitter. In Eco mode it was as powerful if not more than a stihl 24 inch gas powered we have at the property. Also seems pretty safe, the chain stops immediately any time you let go of the trigger or it encounters something that impedes the blade. In two hours of steady cutting I went through one 5 ah and one 6.5 ah battery. Thanks Ego.

Easy to use and does the job well

I am very pleased. It cut up a downed tree with this and it did well. It was easy to use, and had plenty of battery life.

Decent chainsaw

Overall the saw cuts pretty well. It feels good in my hands and the battery charged fairly quick. This is a good saw if you need to make a few cuts. The battery doesn’t last very long, maybe a 20 minutes of cutting. I would need many batteries for this to replace my gas operated saw. I attempted to plunge cut a tree and the chain would not cut. Amazing electric chainsaw

Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a battery chainsaw, but this thing impressed me. I used it to take down a pretty good-sized cherry tree and it had no problem getting through the branches or the trunk. Battery lasted long enough to finish the job, and it’s way easier to deal with than gas. Starts instantly, runs quieter, and just gets it done. Glad I went with this one.
