Best smart wifi thermostat

I searched all smart thermostats and this one is the best one out there. It helps regulates other rooms by using sensors. It works very well with apple HomeKit. So if you want automate your house then look for items with apple HomeKit logo.

Great learning thermostat

Love my ecobee, I also had a nest also. Best wifi thermostat for iOS which gives you Siri control for tempature in your home. Nice extra smaller thermostat that I can place in other rooms to get better room control of other tempature in other rooms.

Truly innovative tech

Great product, was daunting out of the box, but turned out to be easy to install even having to put in the power unit. I love the remote controls, various sensors I have throughout the house and reports I can get from the website. Also you can calendar your vacations so your thermostat turns itself off and on as needed. I also love being able to run the fan for 10 (configurable) minutes every hour to keep my house more even temperatured.

I've had one of these installed for almost 2 weeks now and LOVE it!!! I highly recommend the ecobee3 over the other smart thermostats out there. The ability to add sensors around the house to get a more accurate reading and temperature controls is a huge plus! Also, the controls are extremely easy to use and setup. A relationship saver

With a 2 storey home the temperature was always different upstairs to down. My wife and I would be changing the temperature all the time as one is hot and one is not. With the Ecobee remote sensor I find the temperature is more balanced in the whole house. The product is top quality easy to use and great support for the installation.

I tried the Nexus, as well as, the Honeywell Lyric. The Ecobee3 gives much more for the money. For me, I needed the visible panel (with proximity sensor) and the ability to see the weather forecast to prepare for my day. I have two of them!

I love this thermostat. It has very intelligent scheduling, like defined 'comfort settings' rather than setting temperatures each scheduled point. As far as I can tell the customizability of scheduling is limitless, so you don't have to fit into 4 different time slots. Looked at lots of other brands. A major selling point was the ability to have multiple sensors. Used the powe adapter unit because of my specific HVAC unit. The online videos are excellent. Took my time and felt like a genius when I was done. Excellent value and it works better than advertised.

Ecobee3 ROCKS!

I can't be more happier with this thermostat. The remote sensor was the biggest advantage to other leading brands. It helps with hot spots in my home that other brands can not. Excellent product

Purchased my ecobee3 about a month ago. Coupled with a set of extra sensors, this thing is a self sustaining workhorse that has excellent options for control, and simplicity for those not interested in micromanaging their thermostat. I already see energy savings, and the options to save even more keep presenting themselves. Overall I highly recommend it! Beats a nest out in my opinion any day but read the reviews for yourself.

I love my new Ecobee. It has performed flawlessly and was a breeze to set up. I love being able to schedule my thermostat, and save money in the long run.

Genius

After trying a couple of other thermostats, I found out about the Ecobee3. The remote sensor is genius. I programmed the unit to switchover to the remote sensor in our bedroom during the night and now I finally sleep comfortably while the Ecobee keeps the room at a perfect constant temperature. The unit was easy to wire, program and connect to my wireless network. The Ecobee3 app works great with my smart phone. Thanks Ecobee.

Biggest Bang for your buck

A ton of features that the high end thermostats have without the high price. I love the fact that I can purchase multiple sensors for each room in my house and have them average out the tempature in the whole house to try and keep a consistant temp. Throughout the house.

Ecobee over Nest

I recently purchased two ecobee3s after purchasing a new home. I had previously used Nest for three years. The new home had dual-zone, dual thermostat controls with thermostats that were not centrally located. While I appreciate Nest's ability to integrate with its Protects for motion detection, at the time of this writing, the Protects do not provide temperature data to the thermostats.
