What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this generator for exceptional power, reliability, and quiet operation. Most highlight its ability to power entire homes simultaneously—including central AC units, refrigerators, freezers, septic pumps, and water heaters—often using only a fraction of capacity during extended outages. Reviewers consistently note surprisingly quiet performance for its size, attributing this to inverter technology. Many report trouble-free cold starts and successful use through multiple hurricanes. Setup is straightforward with appreciated features like remote start and dual 50-amp outlets. A few experienced early failures or incomplete documentation, though these concerns are vastly outweighed by positive feedback.

Would RecommendThe generator is for my concession trailer, and I'm very happy with it. My product and equipment consume about 42 amps of power so I knew I needed a large generator, but I didn't want a "screamer". We have a Honda 10,000 at work and it's horrible to be around. I settled on the Duromax 16k due to it being an inverter generator, and it is absolutely fantastic. I have checked the decibel level at the front of the trailer as well as back at the serving window and we are "good to go". From inside the...

I have done my 8 hour break in.
Would RecommendGot my generator Friday 6-14-24. I have done my 8 hr break in. Duro Max needs a parts list to order parts. I have been to 4 different places before I got the oil filter. So far so good on everything. Installing soft starts this week on my A/C units. 5 ton and 4 ton. Now I need several 100 lb propane tanks and I will be ready for next power outage.

Does everything to our expectations and more.
Would RecommendI bought this 2 weeks ago because I needed something with a low "THD" to use on my solar system. And it's doing what I hoped it would do and more. Very satisfied. I hooked it up to the solar inverter, and it runs the house and charges the batteries.

Well built machine bigger than I thought it was.
Would RecommendI bought this machine a month ago still working on my break-in so far so good looking to run my house in my shop with it.

Packed with high quality parts
Would RecommendIt is impressive. Flawless so far. Ran it for six 6hrs and changed the oil. Filled it with fresh oil and it powered the house effortlessly on a test run. This one cost a fraction of the automatic standby type that we had in our last home. This large portable one cost 40% of that one.I hope it functions flawlessly for years to come.
