Ratings & Reviews for DuroMax 744cc 16000 Starting / 13000 Running Watt Gasoline, Liquid propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Be Wary

I purchased this XP16000ih because oit was 16kw rated and cold handle most house loads(items on) with room to spare I did not want to chase watts. After paying for it and unboxing while witng for the elcetrician to wire the transfwer switch - I stunmbled onto something no one explpained evben in allmy converstios on email. These genrators are altitude sensitive. Rated at sea-level to 3K feet. and a reduction of 3 to 5 percent for each additional thousand feet - I live at 5K feet in Reno, Nevad...

Great unit, easy to use, good instructions

Bought to run whole house instead of Generac.

Excellent whole house Generator

Been using this model through one hurricane and a few outages. I have mine hooked up to LP gas and it starts right up every time. The 16,000 watt inverter model ( pure sine wave ) allows us to run certain appliances and sensitive electronics without damage from a modified sine wave. It has TWO 50amp outputs. We run 4 deep freezers, 2 refrigerator/ freezers, full house power, full shop power without having to be conservative. The Deep well, & 4-ton A/C surge voltage is nothing to this beast....

Great unit!

Bought this to power my house after a hurricane or normal summer outages. So far, no need for both, but when I do the monthly run and power to the house, all works flawlessly! I run straight propane. I would buy again!

Great featurns

I bought this few months ago, have used it to see how it will work for me, It does what it supposed to do, not a loud motor.

Handles all our catering trailer needs.

Our 16000 handles every bit of our 28' Concession Trailer. We also use it to power our emergency panel at our brick and mortar.

Love this!

We bought this generator about 1 yr ago and it has been so useful when needed and its definetly worth it living in Florida! Very powerful but wish it was a little quieter!

Over and above my expectations!

Has been a great generator. I have not had to use it yet during a power outage, but when I do the monthly run under power, it has no problem powering the entire house: Variable-speed AC system, variable-speed pool pump, every outlet in the house, including the refrigerator

Quiet and reliable

This generator is a beast! It can handle just about anything and is amazingly quiet for its size. I feel like I'm prepared for the next extended power outage

I have the 1600 duel fuel generator

I bought the 1600 duel fuel generator an I did a test run and it ran my entire house, I live in the country and I have a water well and septic system also.

Great generator!

I bought this generator about a month and a half ago, and we lost power due to a storm and thankfully we had this power house. We were without power for around 18 hours and we were able to run everything necessary in our home and didn’t even use half of the power this beast has to offer. Great generator and very thankful we had it.

Easy to operate

DuroMax Runs my whole home easy run direction .

Well built

Still doing break in period. Seems like an awesome generator

Duromax XP16000iH

Excellent machine super clean unbelievable power very easy to move around for the size. Just an all-around great generator very pleased.

Easy to move, start, use

This inverter/generator will power my whole house in a power outage

Great Product

Bought this to have as back up power in case of power outage. It did the job and ran what we needed to stay warm and comfortable.

Best mammoth of a generator.

I’ve gotten this a few months ago to protect my family from back outs due to storms. Hurricane Helene really humbled me an I promised my family, I will not be caught with my pants around my ankles again. We never thought it would happen to us in western North Carolina. This XP16000iH runs everything I throw at it. I have electric heating, cooking and of course refrigeration. Which that last one is important. I have medicine that keeps me alive that needs to keep cold. So, having this machine not...

Beast of a generator

This inverter/generator is a beast of a machine. With not one but two 50 amp outlets it can truly power my entire house. Note that it takes some extra wiring and a custom setup to get the full output to a single house, but once that was setup I can run my 3 ton and my 5 ton ac along with all other load (like refrigerator, septic pump, microwave, etc.) Just make sure you have plenty of fuel. Using gasoline it runs through about a gallon an hour. I also have some 40lb propane tanks, and it runs...
